What are you binge watching?

I have watched Ozark, Hunters, Peaky Blinders, Mindhunter, Last Kingdom, Frontier, Thieves of the Wood, Lilyhammer, and Beowulf. Really liked The first 3 and got a few chuckles out of Lilyhammer.

My wife and finished up the Soprano's last month on HBO go. Now staying in place, we just finished Ozarks on Netflix, which I highly recommend, and prior to that, Hunters on Amazon (another good one).

We tried one of those Game of Thrones / Vikings rip offs..... that didn't work, then there was this show set in England about some somewhat attractive gal and her misadventures. That didn't work either. So much so, I don't even know the name. It was on Amazon.

We have at least 8 more days..........
Line of duty

True Detective

Atlanta Child Murders

I Love You, Now Die

Tiger King

Have You Seen Andy?

White collar- a master forger and thief works for the fbi solving crimes , 2nd time watching really enjoy it a well written series

Have just started watching Outer Banks, which is a bit cheesy, but I’m giving it a shot based on recommendations from others. The one disappointing thing is that it’s very apparent none of the filming was actually done on the OBX (owned property there for 20 years, until quite recently, so know the area well). Appears to look more like the South Carolina or Georgia coast.
I m watching it too. So far so good

From IMDB
This show references Figure 8 Island which is actually located near Topsail Beach in the OBX.

Was filmed on location in Charleston, SC.

After completing 2 days of homeland I found 24 on Hulu for free. Can't believe how much I liked it and also how much I forgot. Maybe I'll rewatch Sons of Anarchy next.

The Curse of Oak Island
It is a show about digging holes and looking for artifacts. Think of yourself as a kid digging in the backyard. This is pretty much the same. Each twig/item they find leads to speculation of buried treasure and a link to the Templar’s. Although it took many episodes to figure it out, it really is a comedy about nothing but I’m hooked

Bosch is solid. Acting isn't great, plots are pretty boilerplate crime novel (since that's where they came from). But entertaining and something you don't have to pay attention to every detail to keep up on.

Bosch is horrible. Fifteen minutes of dialogue compressed into one hour. You get Bosch driving, Bosch walking and Bosch grunting and giving grown up looks. Just my opinion and I know others like it
I agree. I don’t like the actor playing Bosch. Miscast I think. I have read all of Connelly’s Bosch novels and he created a special, very flawed character. I do not see that in the show. The portrayal of Bosch sucks for me. Connelly is an executive producer so I guess he is satisfied. I am not.

We just finished 9 seasons of Doc Martin. It's not something I would have initially opted for it, but my wife likes British shows, so I agreed to give it a try. It kind of milks its central themes for every ounce of viability, but it was very entertaining. Now we have to wait around until season 10 is filmed and released. (And being 9 seasons long, with each episode taking @ 45 minutes, it did take a chunk of time to watch all 9 seasons.)
I love Doc Martin. I did it know there is going to be another season. That is great. I wish they would release the new season of Marcella on Netflix.

A PLACE TO CALL HOME on Acorn, Aussie production set in Sydney area 1954. Six seasons of well written material and a great cast of actors. If you start you will definitely want to binge and since Acorn
is offering a Free 30 day trial it’s a Great deal! You won’t be disappointed!
It is very soap opera-ish.

We seem to watching another show I never would have picked on my own. Somehow, we started watching Big Little Lies, which is on HBO. It's heavy on chick drama, which is not usually my cup of tea. However, season 1 has a lot of scenes of Nicole Kidman with little or no clothes on, which by itself makes it a show worth watching. ;)

It’s actually a very good show.

I've been watching a lot of old TV shows on Prime.

Comedies: Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke, Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies

Westerns: Wyatt Earp, Cisco Kid, Jim Bowie

Drama: Peter Gunn, The Saint

Less old: Chuck, Dead Like Me

Also just started watching Community on Netflix. Kinda stupid, but funny stupid!

I never watched House of Cards so I decided to watch that. It didn't take me long to become a huge Robin Wright fan.

My wife made me watch a cpl seasons of it. Terrible. Too femme. Too much emotional dialogue. Nothing friggin’ happens! Avoid at all costs. Watched the movie Extraction on Netflix last night. Jason Bourne-esque. Hi action. I really liked it.

I thought Extraction was pretty good as well.
I'm binge watching a tv series that I missed called For Life. Pretty interesting.

Breaking Bad - 3rd viewing. Jesse and Walt have just been kidnapped by Tuco
On last episode of Season 2. Junkie Jane just died, so Mike will enter the picture.

The domestic scenes in Season 2 are excruciating to watch as Walt’s lies become more and more desperate. The blowup over Skyler’s smoking and Walt’s hypocrisy was fantastic. Skyler mocking Walt about his “desperate breakfasts” and that she probably smoked during a “fugue state”

Similiar tastes, guessing you have seen Making a Murderer but currently watching The Staircase. One of the best is Jinx: The Life and Death of Robert Durst. Insane. On the fiction series side, we are finishing Broadchurch, which is good but perhaps slightly overrated. Everyone is a suspect and lots of layered storylines. I really liked The Killing Seasons 1 & 2. Mirielle Enos was superb. The Missing is very gut wrenching but well done. Season 1 ending is perhaps best TV ending ever. It really makes sense when you follow story.
