What would Iowa's record be if they had our schedule?

I am thinking something like.

W: Wisky, Nova, Ball State, Indiana (of course), Maryland, Illinois, Rutgers,

L: Auburn, Ohio State, Michigan, Sparty

They may drop a game to Maryland and beat Sparty or Michigan in a weird upset.

Iowa 55
Maryland 14

PSU certainly has a tougher schedule as the season unfolds. The Purdue, Wisconsin and Husker games could very well be losses for Iowa yet to come this year. Who knows

Iowa benefited from winning 6 in a row to end last year. Then they had to play #17 ranked Indiana to start the year. Iowa won 34-6. Then #10 Iowa beat # 9 ISU the following week on the road. Indiana and ISU have really fallen off since they got beat up in those games. That certainly doesn't help Iowa with strength of schedule. I hate the term "control your own destiny" but that is where Iowa sits right now at #2, even with the weaker opponents on paper

Iowa would run the table if we had your schedule. Easily

The only tough opponent for Iowa, if we had your schedule, would be when Iowa had to play Iowa.

Now that would be a great game!

RMH and WT. Do you agree with my assessments of what type of Iowa fan you are? Please LMK, I'm trying to be as accurate as possible going forward.

Iowa would drop 70 on every team on our schedule. That defense is like the '85 Bears. It's a copycat world and football is going to explode with white safeties and statue-like inaccurate Quarterbacks. Possibly the best college football team in the last 40 years. At least the best college team I've since since the '85 Iowa team.
(Maybe if we give them the validation they crave they'll go the **** away. Must suck to be so insecure. Show some compassion).

You will never figure me out. I'm a Lone Wolf. Your first mistake was thinking I'm one of the sheep. A Lion may be stronger but a Wolf never performs in a circus.

Turk, you are the most reasonable of the lurkers from Iowa, better said, intruders. You bring great wrestling knowledge and information on that board that is generally welcome.

This is a special year for Iowa football. You got a break with our QB injury and I suspect you know that, others are in the Twilight Zone on that issue. Work from your strengths. To the rest, the mods need to remove the inane, annoying and delusional intruders, illegal aliens so to say, crossing a border without proper vetting. While there are a few PSU fans intruding on your board it doesn't appear to match the zeal to gloat some hawkeye fans have here.

Stay cool, can't wait for mid winter wrestling matches, great fun and excitement!

You didn't read the article, did you?

If they swapped schedules, they'd then have to play PSU on the road too. Even with the Clifford injury, PSU likely wins at home. If Clifford stays healthy... we all saw what was happening.
