AJ should hate stupid. He hasn't figured out a way to fix it yet.
Pretty sure he's still "out of the game." And if I was a coach considering returning him to the game, it's posts like that one that would give me pause. Wake me up when he realizes he's not a victim of anything, he just makes stupendously bad choices, and will continue to do so until he makes some massive mental adjustments.
If a coach were considering giving him a try, that coach's critical thinking skill set would not be able to process the meaning of that post.
I had a friend, maybe 10 years older than AJ is now. My friend's poor decisions got him into a legal bind, but basically all he needed to do was say I am sorry and ask for help. The friend was so narcissistic and stuck on "me", acknowledging even superficially that he was in the wrong and could use some help was an impossibility. He lost his wife, his connection with his child, his professional career and eventually his freedom. I do not personally know AJ, but from the outside looking in I see what I perceive to be many strong similarities.
