I am expecting to see him on special teams somehow against Temple, and wouldn't be surprised to see him at RB at times by the time the B1G schedule begins. What are your thoughts?

Will it be in question at all?Even with the game still in question.
Count on it! Right now he is positioning himself to be the #2 RB behind Lynch. From what I hear and read, there isn't a better pure rusher than Barkley right now. His pass blocking needs polishing and once that happens, look out!I am expecting to see him on special teams somehow against Temple, and wouldn't be surprised to see him at RB at times by the time the B1G schedule begins. You won't see 5 running backs in any game that isn't a major blowout. Not saying a blowout can't happen. Seriously, Allen is more of a 3rd down back. He's used sparingly and Barkley gets at least 10 -15 carries. Lynch gets 20-25.I suspect Barkley will be mixed in here and there, maybe see 10% to 15% of the carries, along with the three (3) other RS FR RB's who I am guessing will have ~25% to 33% of the carries while Lynch will have the rest of the load up to 50%.
Would love to see him returning kickoffs ala Curt Warner as a freshman.
Back in my day, we didn't know the new players coming in. I remember Warner (a total unknown to me) returning a couple of kicks for touchdowns. I think that we had penalties so they were called back. He was the most special back that I ever saw in person.Would love to see him returning kickoffs ala Curt Warner as a freshman.
