Will this be the year we start bringing in offensive 5 stars again?

The D has firmly established itself, with high-end coaching and a steady flow of talented players. But the O is still misfiring - or under-firing.

I think the coaching staff has a great rep for being player-oriented, and developing player potential ( esp. on D) but for whatever reason we have yet to catch up with the top schools when it comes to high end offensive players. And that seems to include Dominate the State.

The 2024 season is our chance to prove we belong in the Playoff mix. An infusion of West Coast Big Name schools will bring fresh opportunities to be seen in new markets and appreciated for the overall team we put on the field. It will also test our coaches and players in new ways.

CJF is a quality guy who may well be building coaching staff strength in areas where we have been a notch or two lacking. Time for DA, the WR room, and a talented RB room, and the new OL to show we can do it on both sides of the field. Nothing like an explosive O to attract reluctant 5 stars to a play-off bound team, and prove NIL isnt the BE-ALL in CFB.
