ask CJF if he is staying at PSU or going to his big LSUUSC or whatever opportunity. I suggest we do it ASAP. With this loss we are probable out of the playoff hunt. His annual agent planted stories of great other opportunities are getting tiresome.

And I like CJF and do not want him to leave. But I do not want to read 5 articles a day on how he is wanted elsewhere "better than PSU". You want out, then leave. You want what we have, you are welcome to stay.

In total agreement.

I have been a big CJF supporter And have given him the benefit of the doubt. However, this loss was inexcusable. I’m happy to move on.

Franklin isn’t going anywhere. PSU is one of the safest jobs in the industry. He could win 7 to 8 games a year and would not get fired. He knows it, job security is everything in this sport. He knows he has limitations and they are exceptable to the university and most fans.

Take last year's won-loss record and invert it. The only question remaining is how many points will Ohio State score.

The university needs to decide if they want to be an elite football program and pony up the money to bring the program up with the elite to compete and to stop the Franklin to where ever every other year. If not, then get out or the big10 and shut down all sports and become just a university of knowledge.

CJF.... needs to finish the season and Go anywhere....and take his elite coaching to another school. AMF... its old. I am sure there will be a ton of people who will die on the sword and say how good he is... He is not good.

That's not going to happen and, if it did, nothing he would say would be binding.

I'm trying to figure out why we have one of the worst run blocking OLs, weakest DLs, and our RBs have turned into glass.

Our HC is a soft, happy rah rah guy and it carries over to the field. We are soft. S A W F T soft. Lucky we aren't 3-4 at this point. Win 6 seems farther away than anything.

What the opening post proves, and what has been an annual occurrence now, this crap IS a distraction. Franklin simply can’t say it isn’t.

To him, his staff, his players….it is a total distraction.

PennState is all about generating money. As long as the program continues to bring in the cash, wins don’t matter.

Perhaps not going anywhere but know this. These aren't the good ole days where everyone has the discretionary income to piss away on an also-ran, even on a weekend trip to bucolic Happy Valley to reminiscence. We have China to thank for it. I'm reminded of that each time I go back to PA. Consider if you will the majority of PA's 4th largest city, Erie, is on some form of public assistance. And last time I checked everybody still wants a winner.

Just tell him to go or say he won't have any interest in other offers for the duration of his CONTRACT!

I’m with you. But at this point I can’t justify to myself the cost of going to see this team. Performances like this will make more supporters feel this way. To many options out there, no reason sit through this crap. I can watch it on TV or follow on the tablet for free.

The one thing we need is depth at the QB position which we don't have. With the exception of Clifford and Levis, we have recruited run first dual threats like Trace. Levis transfers and we lost any semblance of depth with him. Didn't bring in a QB via the portal and we are stuck with the consequences.

Welcome to the 22nd ranked team in the nation
That's being generous. Unranked is what we look like. Our wins? Over 3 weeks ago.

OL, DL are weak. RBs have gone downhill since Seider replaced Huff its starting to seem.

Our lack of QB depth is irrelevant when you can't push Villanova. Whoever said it then was right: if you can't run, you can't Air Raid your way to winning.

James need to either resign or be fired. Sandra needs to pull up her Big Girl pants and make the most obvious, yet difficult, decision in her tenure at PSU.

How do you know they haven’t. Maybe you could call the AD’s office and leave your number so he can call you personally. Honest to god this is pathetic.

This definitely seems like a program defining losss in some ways. Franklins class is impressive though so he wont be going anywhere unless he leaves himself. Might need a few coaching staff changes though.

Well even if PSU had won the game the annual stories are getting tiresome.

How many more coaching positions do you want to switch out?

I truly don't understand people like you....touchy-feely weasels willing to allow re-arrangement of deck chairs on the Titanic after it has already contacted an ice berg.

I have no idea how good the coaches are. They all come here with experience so I would hope that they could teach fundamentals. It'd depressing to see us get overpowered at the LOS. Maybe players just aren't very good. There were a lot of missed blocks. Sometimes it's the running back. Sometimes it's the TE or WR. The announcers pointed that out today. Whiffing on a block seems like more than a lack of talent.

The part that I think was definitely coaching was the offensive play calling. I understand that Franklin might have thought his best chance was with Clifford but the play calling didn't help him. I would have expected a lot of quick swing passes. I don't think I saw a WR screen until the 4th quarter. Remember when we went to split backs? Where was that today? But contimually running between the tackles for 2 yards obviously wasn't going to get it done. Most of the pass attempts were straight drop backs and a lot were on 3rd down with a blitz coming. An injured Clifford didn't have a good chance with those plays.
