Rob Dougherty on October 22, 2016 at 2:37p @greenmanrd
Cael Sanderson continued to roll on the recruiting trail with two top-5 verbal commits for the 2018 class on Saturday in Travis Wittlake Jr. and Roman Bravo-Young. They made their announcement together in a video posted on Flo Wrestling that you can view here.
Currently, Penn State has three top-10 ranked wrestlers committed for 2018, as they join No. 10 Joe Lee (2017 commit Nick Lee's brother)
TRAVIS WITTLAKE JR.
Wittlake is currently the 4th-ranked wrestler overall for the 2018 class by Flo Wrestling. He is competing at 170 pounds in high school, but he projects to be a 184-197 wrestler in his collegiate career. Wittlake is coming off of a very successful summer where he won USA Wrestling's Cadet Freestyle and Greco-Roman titles in Fargo.
ROMAN BRAVO-YOUNG
Bravo-Young is currently the 5th-ranked wrestler overall for the 2018 class by Flo Wrestling. Currently competing at 126 pounds, Bravo-Young projects to be a 133-141 wrestler in his collegiate career. He is also coming off of a successful summer where he won Cadet Freestyle gold in Fargo at 54 kg, where he beat Jordan Decatur 13-2 TF and 8-2 in the best of 3 finals.

Tell RBY to put the FULL COURT PRESS on Fix
Since when did a silly thing like money get in the way of the FULL COURT PRESS?Hard to put on a full-court press without any money. I can't imagine we have much left for the class of 2017.

You are implying rules. We don't need no stinking rules.Hard to put on a full-court press without any money. I can't imagine we have much left for the class of 2017.
Berge to Iowa and Fix to OSU would be my guess. Sadly I now believe you guys will get Gable S.

Why do you see Gable S coming our way? I mean I hope you're right, but just curious if it's anything more than a hunch?
What would this mean about Seth Nevills?Mostly a hunch. I have heard from a pretty solid source that we (ISU) are not completely out of the running, and of course Minn. if part of the problem. The same source said "plus Cael is sniffing around- which is never good". I just think there is enough negatives at Minn. right now and with ISU still being just a few hours from home we could win this vs them. PSU with the lure of team titles, 2 big gold medalists in the room, 2 good buddies in Hall and RBY, too much to overcome.

Best man wins the spot. That would be a good problem to have. Willie just keeps sending them in, quicker than we can find spots. If Gable wants to come to Happy Valley, you can't pass that up.
Sure you can. Coaches need to project who's the better college HWT, not who has the best HS credentials. If Gable wants to come to Happy Valley, you can't pass that up.

3 years of Hall-Wittlake-Steveson-Snacks would be obscene. If Gable could go back to 197, and Nevills go heavy.... Oh my.
3 years of Hall-Wittlake-Steveson-Snacks would be obscene.
Sure makes me hope Steveson to HWT this year is merely a personal challenge.
LOL - Now THAT is a fine basis for a new domination plan El-Jefe.
Would love to see Cael and crew pull off an upper level lineup like that.
Hell, that could be the 2nd half of this season if Rasheed is feeling the weight cut again.I'll be pretty pleased next season with a Zain, Nolf, Joseph, Hall, Nickal 149-184. Pretty murderous, that crew.
