Wittlake and Bravo Young commit

That's old hat for Cael.

We already have been treated to the Magic Man, Hulk Hands, Easy Ed & Q fearsome foursome, all in a row.

Not quite for 3 yrs though. But close enough.

it's been fun being totally spoiled with murderers rows of talent, hasn't it diggerpup?
It gets habit forming. We have some great talent now. Ready to reload for the future.

I'll be pretty pleased next season with a Zain, Nolf, Joseph, Hall, Nickal 149-184. Pretty murderous, that crew.

Would like to see us get ten AAs in the same lineup.

Then, would like to see an even higher number of Nittany Lions in the finals than we've had already, resulting in even more national champs.

LOL - What an amazing era to be a Nittany Lion wrestling fan.

if a guy pinned his way thru sat night. how many total point? X 10. Do I need to say it Spyker?

PSU has had 5 reach the finals a few times. At least twice by my memory 2013 & 2016.

Isn't the all-time record 6 finalists ?

It's not easy to have 5. Its eye-opening.

Record may be 6 finalists. That's what the 1997 Iowa Hawkeyes accomplished.
They had six finalists and two more All-Americans. Quite a haul.
Walked away with 5 Champs, a #2 and another AA.

Sure you can. Coaches need to project who's the better college HWT, not who has the best HS credentials.

Part of that is weight. Snacks is a heavy now. Steveson is moving up. How much more can he add? If he stays lighter (toward 230), he's no Snyder.

I see no reason he would be a poor fit in the room, on campus, etc., but if the coaches do, another good reason.

And that's before you get into the family relationship already established out west. Or scholarship demands.

IMO this is academic anyway. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up his brother's teammate in Gooferville.

I would lean this way just on the notion that "brother bonds" tend to be especially strong in the sport of wrestling. In this particular example, of course, I would be assuming they have a good relationship...

Hell, that could be the 2nd half of this season if Rasheed is feeling the weight cut again.
I know the staff darn near pulled the trigger on Vincenzo's redshirt last year, but this is a bit different and I would be willing to bet there is a near zero percent chance Mark's red-shirt gets pulled.

PSU had 5 finalists in 2012 and 2016.

The record is 6, done 5 times since 1960 (1986, 1991, 1997 by Iowa, and 1962, 1964 by Oklahoma State). 2 of those teams (1986 and 1997 Iowa) ended up with 5 Individual Champs.

The AA record is 10 (Minnesota), while 7 teams had 9 since 1960.
