does anyone know if this will be streamed on UWW's website for those located outside of the US?

there was a lot of internet banter dragging of the USA team after the names were released. But so far the boys are wrestling their hearts out for America

Beat Georgia 7-3 and currently up on Iran

Iran does wind up winning a 5-5 split on criterea (I don’t know UWW dual criterea but my guess is Sammy Brooks getting pinned was the difference—he was up 4-1 at the time).

If recording tonight's matches on Olympic channel be sure to record next program as well. Both first and second sessions were cut off of mine this morning for running long.

Was it a spladle?

Wicked toss from a body lock:
That throw was brutal and tough to watch of Brooks' behalf.

Even though he was up 4-1 those points all came off a throw that could've gone either way, and it first it did, getting reversed on a rare successful overseas challenge by the US.

Nice to see some other guys getting int'l experience, though. Zain looked solid, Nico looked outstanding this morning. Too bad none of our guys are going to see Russia. If US sees Cuba in the Bronze match tomorrow Nico will get Bonne Rodriguez, who was the only winner against Russia, on this beautiful 4-point move.

Cuba over Japan you think?

I dunno enough about either team, except that it seems lots of teams didn't bring their A-squads so who knows. So does Japan beating Turkey mean they'd beat Cuba? I dunno. Anyone watching this event more closely than me?

Both Zain and Nico looked good. Hard to tell what that means exactly because of the level of competition.

They get guys from Mongolia tonight.

Looking forward to seeing both in the mix at the US open (April 25-27) and World Team Trials (May 16-19).

Indeed.

Bonne is great because usually his gas tank kinda sucks, but boy oh boy can he pop off some fireworks. Would probably be a world champ if in a different national federation.
