Bonne is great because usually his gas tank kinda sucks, but boy oh boy can he pop off some fireworks. Would probably be a world champ if in a different national federation.

According to one wrestling outlet, Bonne's wrestling style "has put the phrase 'Bonne Bombs' into the wrestling lexicon."

Indeed. He dropped one on Rashidov to win it in Budapest (then held on by the skin of his stallin teeth):
The move he pulled off yesterday he tries but doesn't quite pull off in this match, early in the first.

Rashidov's coach showed great restraint in not pistol whipping the ref, settling for lighter assault. Still can't figure out what he was bitching about. Was he looking for a passivity call? Bonne's feet never go out, but I initially thought that's what he was looking for.

Which leg is 125lb?

My initial response was going to be...….that he merely needs to ride a bike …...through a meat processing plant where he accidentally gets sawed in half......and his trainers let him bleed out until weigh-ins and then re-hydrate him with 4 quarts of AB-.....and put 4 million volts through him (Python Reference= +5 ).. . I didn't post it because I thought it might be a little dark.......plus I figured he might have to Medical Forfeit in the finals....:). However......now that I am well past my 3rd glass of wine......I think I'm freakin' hilarious. So hate me :)

Has US vs. Mongolia started yet? Thought it was 10 PM.

Japan vs. Cuba is going on now. Takahashi (World Champ) is upset.

it's next - after the Ruskies

I can only follow on Twitter, but it looks like the match with Mongolia has begun. Richards down 4-0 at the break.

Mongolian guy is currently ranked # 14 at 65 KG by UWW in terms of points accumulated.

Watching on the Olympic channel, correct me if I'm wrong, but did I see Antney C. sporting a cool PSU t-shirt on the commercial right before the Nelson match :D

Nico did a split and had his ankle next to his throat. Hell of a split but ended up giving the takedown that caused him to lose on criterion.

Zain gets a tech in 1st period.

That hurt my leg watching Nico in that scramble...
Zain still brutal with the bow and arrow

Bill Spaulding the Olympic channel play by play guy would try to add something by asking Shane Sparks a wrestling question. Spark's answers were simply flat as if he wasn't ready to think through a response. I just thought a guy who asks questions after so many matches could answer some himself with more insight. Shane was great on facts and background of the wrestlers but not so much on those interactions. Glad it was on the Olympic Channel. Bronze coming home with the team. Zain is going to be an international monster!

I don't think that is him. Just a model/student who wears it well!

now I'm tired... as noted not our best team out there.
Sanderson / Richards - don't look like world beaters. Richards looked like a left high crotch or nothing.
Nico wrestled well and lost a tough one on criteria to Japan.
Zain looked outstanding, won every match.
Chamberlain - looks the same, Solid.
IMar looked very good. Think he won every match
Gant - Wrestled well. Not yet on world level
Brooks - rough go at it.
Zilmer - showed some good signs and was impressed
Gadson - not a lot of offense. Seemed he scored more often on D.
Nelson - Not impressed. Had trouble against the Japan guy

Wasn't feeling well last night so I was able to watch the last USA round and the Bronze match. Thought Zain looked great and Nico looked very good as well, just a little to aggressive at the end of the Japan match. On a side note, how on Gods green earth did Sam the mullet Brooks get chosen for this team, he looked absolutely awful.
