Somehow Penn State fans are voted not to be the absolute worst.
That distinction goes to perennial winner: Iowa.

Iowa 61.1%
PSU 25%
other 13.9%

Another stat that demonstrates that the PSU program is just a bunch of upstarts led by a guy who can't coach. Until we can produce the most obnoxious fans, we must be regarded as an inferior program.

This is a Jammenz Poll with a +/- 150% margin for error, so we still might be the worst - it's just not reflected in the numbers.

Going on another 4-peat will probably generate enough hate to surpass Iowa. It's a good aspiration to have. :D

Quick Question, Someone said Zain outscored the entire Minnesota TEAM at NCAAs, is that true?

Picture the Gophers as this watermelon:

You guys are never happy unless you're #1.

You better pick your game up Jammenz...PSU158 has moved up on the hater rankings over at The Mat. Your opponents are starting to close the gap...

You know "Close the gap"? Like how St John "Closed the gap" on Taylor, and then Evans "closed the gap" later on? Like how Sorenson "closed the gap" on Zain, from 0-4 and no shots to 1-10 and no shots?

Well sure glad us Hawk fans got something if only we had about 15 million more population we could have a 100%:)

You have that backwards. They are number 1 because they are in Happy Valley.
We are a dynasty because we have always had the best, and most, high school wrestlers, and we hired the greatest coach and former wrestler in America on top of that. Dan Gable himself predicted it a LONG LONG time ago, before Cael even graduated wrestling. Cael has revolutionized the sport and changed the entire face of wrestling, and Penn State has finally taken it's rightful place in the sport, with Cael and this great staff in charge. The Penn State wrestler has fun, scores a ton of points, and loves to compete. The Penn State wrestler echoes Cael. A certain kind of wrestler comes to Penn State in today's sport, just as a certain kind of wrestler came to Iowa in the 1980s.

If you go to the Iowa boards, you can find out that Mejia is a lifetime 125 but will move up to 133 to make room for Spencer Lee - and, presumably, will succeed there. The other 120 recruit (Mejia and he are in the same class as Spencer) will move up to 141 to make it all happen. They don't see any inconsistency there. That's how delusional things get.

I would have no problem trading you guys Philly and our "population difference" for your Iowa farm fields. Simply because our "population" doesnt contribute to our wrestling and your farm lands would put more trophy whitetails on my walls.

Our "population difference" here in metro Philly gave Dziewa to the Hawks. Some Hawks might think less of that trade proposal.

Gable predicated LONG LONG time ago, before Cael even graduated.

Yes and to think they both learned how to wrestle from some great coaches at Iowa State.
Man how time changes things. Just like our great country thinks Hillary or Bernie will be great Presidents.

The classic red and gold uniforms with the giant "I"....The image I can never forget,(obviously Cael) other than the great Gable that is, is that giant of a man, Mr Chris Taylor, just dwarfing everyone and somehow pulling off moves with that 450 pound frame. Unforgettable. There of course are so many greats, but for some reason, Chris Taylor, and Willie Gadsen, to me.

And Dan Gable would take on Taylor in the room, Dan says he still has the pain in his ribs to this day haha.

Chris Taylor was also known for his warm and gentle nature. Wade Schalles wrote about him saying that when Taylor died, an autopsy revealed that of his 450 lbs, 80% of it was all heart.

Yes indeed. The true gentle giant with the heart of gold. You could sort of see it come through when he stepped out on the mat.

Here is just how pathetic and sad, and twisted, that it has become for the haters: Over on the mat, there is a thread entitled "The psychology of it all", which is THREE PAGES of the saddest, most pathetic hate that you can imagine, claiming that PSU is somehow not the championship team, because they lost 3 of 5 in the finals.

Just wow.

Scribe is such a turd. Passive-aggressive little baby. Makes it more enjoyable to me when we win to know that turds like him are crying in their beers.

Minny actually looks pretty good compared to Rutgers. They sent all 10 and Zain almost outscored them.

I read the mat about once a month but mostly do around international tourneys. Have some good oppo research over their on foreign guys

Had a visit awhile back with Paul Jean who was with Gable in the room at that time they had many of tough goes is always interesting to chat with the old timers.
