Worst fan base?

Just my 2 cents, and 11 1/2 months from validation.

Always assuming good health for everybody.
Penn State will again be the favorite. Ohio State will give Penn State the stiffest challenge, Oklahoma State will challenge Ohio State for second and Virginia Tech and Iowa will battle it out for 4th and 5th. I think just like this year, Iowa will wrestle a good tournament but they miss the trophy presentation again.
Gilman is the favorite or Co favorite depending on Tomasello weight choice.
Clark as a 2 time finalist is the early favorite, but there will be some good 33 pounders and to win a championship you generally have to score some offensive points.
41 I do not know enough about what they have here, but I doubt it is Montel.
Sorenson will win every match not wrestled against Retherford. Kemerer will be really good, but at best low AA.
Marinelli (sp) should really redshirt but he probably won't and while he will be an upgrade he most likely isn't climbing high up the podium if at all.
Meyer and Brooks will be good, but at best mid lower level AA.
Stoll will win lots of matches, but the next time I watch him initiate an offensive move it will the first.

Bottom line is Iowa will most likely be better, but so will everybody ahead of them. Their collective reluctance (noted Gilman exception) to wrestle initiating offense will hinder them as the rounds march towards the more elite matchups.
Realizing we are more than 11 months out and based on immediately available evidence I believe Iowa will finish off the trophy podium, again.

Of course I could be full of baloney.
I like your top 5 except I'd switch OSU and tOSU. I think OSU is only missing a heavy from a very solid lineup, and there are rumblings that a transfer may occur into that weight. At 149, I'm not sure Sorenson is an iron clad 2nd place guy, although I tend to lean your direction. Micah Jordan is expected to move up to a more natural weight and may be a player here. Surprised you say that about Stoll. I think for a heavy he pins a lot, but I haven't seen enough to be sure. As for the 3 Iowa heavy hitters, I don't believe all three make it back to finals next year. Gilman for sure, but the other two are offensively challenged, and those types tend to get picked off eventually.

Jammenz, how about reviving your Minnesota thread? I'm curious about Minnesota's outlook next year. (I'm being serious, not trolling.)

But he is serious about trolling.;)

Do trolls evolve to a higher plane of interweb existence like when gandolf went from grey to white?

Cause there are many trolls feeding across the lands and jamz deserves something so he is differenciated from the hordes.

MSU158 takes issue with this.

I think MSU158 is ok, other than that ridiculous post on HR he made about getting PSU fans mad. 1/10 troll attempt. For the most part he makes ok points.

I get being jaded towards PSU fans from the outside perspective.

He was a damn good wrestler, but that does not excuse the fact that he has become a hater.

I'm not giving him a pass because he's a former wrestler. I am also a former wrestler.

He has no excuse for being a hater.
This isn't about giving him a pass. It's about relevancy. You bring him up here a lot. I don't think anybody else ever brings him up, plus he doesn't post here, so he's irrelevant.

Beetlejuice comes to mind.

That makes sense, but he only understands trollspeak.

Don't be so hard on MSU158, he can't help it that the MSU qualifiers rode to the Garden on a motorcycle.

Funny, I saw a family of 8 on one, in India as well.
WOW. Yeah, you cringe seeing it because the motorcycle is fighting oil tankers and ox carts for the road (and sidewalks). All it takes is one boo-boo and several kids are dead on the street. No thanks.

How many PSU wrestling haters does it take to wreck a motorcycle?

20. 1 to wreck it and the other 19 to blame it on Cael.

Being a Navy Seal from Minnesota can do wonders for the rest of your life:

This has *nothing* to do with wrestling, but the only thing SEALs can do better than Marines is to freakin' swim. Give those guys a combat load and put them up against some 03's and see what happens. My money is on the grunts.
