Worst trade in NBA history was just made

Was there ever a better tandem than Duncan and Robinson?
The 85-86 Celts had the combination of Walton, Parrish and McHale which would have formed a more than formidable opposition to Duncan/Robinson.

I believe Walton won 6th man of the year and was still a force in spot duty.

I would've loved to have seen the matchup of the 2 titans from different eras compete on the hardwood.

My point is the current NBA, in my opinion, is a heaping pile of $hit. Can't make it any simpler.

You can't be any simpler.

Again, this is a thread on a trade. If you aren't interested in the sport, go. Away. No one cares that you don't watch. Do you walk by a Victoria's Secret and feel compelled to bust in and tell them "I don't even wear women's lingerie ... anymore"? No? Why not?

If you're posting in this thread to simply repeat that you don't like the NBA, you're a troll.

And your dog is ugly.

That Celtics front court was just insane. Almost unfair.

Ah recentism strikes again. I don't remember the details but didn't the Sixers trade Wilt Chamberlain to the Lakers and also didn't the Milwaukee Bucks trade Lew Alcindor/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to the Lakers? But yeah, every thing today is the latest and greatest. Spare me.

There's been a ton of crazy trades...there's no question. Recency or not...this still ranks high

I think at this point I'll keep posting just because I'm a troll. :)

The one thing I will say about the Moses Malone trade that might make it worse is that in that era trades in the NBA were still largely about players and believing you were trying to make a team better. That's really not the case now--it's just trying to match salaries and save some luxury money if possible. Obviously the players aren't going to complain when a 35 year old Jimmy Butler can get 60M a year but there's a valid point it's hard to compare trades in different era. Although Dallas is claiming they did this to be better so...

Speaking of the NBA, the Raptors are experimenting with a floor that can be electronically changed on the fly. The coach can even draw up plays and have the player spacing actually display on the floor.

speaking of NBA...this promotion didn't go very well.

It's disappointing to see the Mavs get rewarded with Flagg after this idiotic deal. Hoping they do something equally dumb and trade the pick.

Luka gets traded to the LeBron Lakers and Dallas magically gets the number 1 pick. I’m sure it’s all legit with that 1.8% chance they had.
NBA, total joke, did not watch one second this year. Remember when the Knicks magically got the big man from Georgetown, not even going to look up name, someone will. NY needed to be reenergized, was that David Stern?

So I don't believe they wanted to save Dallas. If anything they'd want Flagg in San Antonio or Philly. Probably safe they didn't want him in Washington but the conspiracies are fun

Wouldn't they want Flagg in the biggest market in the lottery? Chicago or Philly.

Typical conspiracy crazy ... ignore the times chance doesn't benefit certain parties, and then cry foul when it does.

It's chance.

Spurs have had the last two Rookie of Year award winners. Stephon Castle is a very good pairing with Victor. I would say the future is very bright for them.

It is--and they have to be the favorites to land Giannis unless Dallas doesn't want Flagg. Spurs look to be in great shape.

I'd say if you don't remember the name of "the big man from Georgetown" who went to the Knicks, the NBA isn't sweating the fact that you're not a fan.
