For those who might not frequent the wrestling board, it's become pretty common knowledge over there that 125-pound Nick Suriano has been rumored to transfer. I haven't commented a whole lot on it, bc not PSU nor the Surianos are talking about it, but it was brought to my attention more than a month ago that he didn't want to come back and that Rutgers was the desired destination.
Today, NJ.com reports that Penn State is blocking his transfer request to any Big Ten school. More at the link

"Nick Suriano recently requested a release so that he could transfer to Rutgers. We granted this release. Subject to Big Ten policy, any intra-conference transfer is required to sit for one year before they are again eligible to participate. Nick is open to transfer to Rutgers and will be subject to that school's policies (conference or otherwise) on transfer and eligibility status. We support and work within the Big Ten policy."
