WTF?!? Bill Cosby jury deadlocked. I thought the media already convicted him????

LdN: If her testimony is admitted, it is evidence. Whether you or, more importantly, the jury, regard her testimony as credible is a different issue.

I might add that I am not invested in the outcome here. I think that Cosby is probably guilty as hell, but I do not care all that much either way. I was just making a comment on the legal question of whether there was "evidence."

Whatever. Stop splitting hairs. Obviously she gave testimony. Duh. Not sure if you're trying to be clever or just a lawyer.

We're not in a courtroom. This is a message board.
I get that, but implicit in your statement that there was "no evidence" is a judgment that either: (1) Andrea Constand's testimony was not credible, or (2) there was no physical (or other) evidence to support her account of what happened..

Forget about all of this. The important thing is that our system of justice here in America is the best on earth, nearly infallible in fact, and C,S,S will each serve jail time for their very, very horrific crimes. And I for one am very proud to be from a state that is a quintessential example of such justice.

No it is not implicit unless we're in a courtroom.

I'm sure all those men that you hear about through the years that were falsely imprisoned, some being vindicated by DNA evidence, appreciate the fact that our system of justice is nearly infallible.

LOL, would it have helped you if he had included a sarcasm icon with his post?

60 women is a lot to make accusations. I am not assuming anything. He was removed from the Temple board though very quickly. We had a lot of people on the PSU board that should have been "early retired" from the word "go" 6 years ago. Sort of hard when it is run like a mafia ring at the top I suppose.

Problem is he isn't on trial for 60 women making accusations. He's on trial for one case that happened 13 years ago.

There is no third party to corroborate the story. Just a bunch of people making accusations.

Hard to get 12 randomly selected individuals to unanimously agree on ANYTHING in this country today!

I have a hard time believing Cosby is guilty. Have you seen pictures of this broad? You'd have to drug ME to put it to her.
