WTF - Chargers’ TD Replay?

That was a joke. It was a TD the first time but the ref calls it short and then marks it all the way back at the 1 instead of 1 inch from the goal line. Got the call wrong then marked it wrong. 0-2 on 1 play.

It clearly wasn't a TD.

And man, Ravens going down with the ship with Jackson at QB.

Not a coincidence that the Chargers are the first team to face Jackson twice

Yep...made the necessary adjustments from the first time around and dared Jackson to beat them with his arm...which he can’t do. Surprised Flacco isn’t in yet.

Harbaugh would rather go down w the ship than invite the potential controversy. Jackson blows and the ravens will be in the market for a qb in 2020 if not sooner.

Ravens’ fans are gonna send Harbaugh camping after this one, his QB is playing like Keith Jackson (may he Rest In Peace).

Jackson is on pace to break the record for fewest passing yards in a playoff game: 51

They already announced hes coming back. I'm ready to move on. I hope the trade rumors are true.

Chargers can lose next round for not beating ravens the first time. Baltimore getting in playoff is like 6-6 college team going to a bowl.

Stupid Steelers really screwed it up. I’m taking my ball and going home

Are they gonna play the Chargers every week? Give them credit, Chargers are legit.

They are gonna play a lot of defenses that have already faced this offense or had an entire offseason to scheme for it.

Jackson set the NFL record for fumbles in the regular season with 12 (10 as a starter). 3 today makes that 15. He had 25 in 3 years at Louisville. So in the last 4 season for Jackson, he has 40 fumbles. It has nothing to do with the Chargers.

For comparisons sake, people here act like Miles Sanders can't hold onto the ball and he has 10 fumbles in his career.

This is their schedule next year. They dont play the chargers every week but that schedule is brutal. I am not optimistic.

Home

Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Houston Texans
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Arizona Cardinals
San Francisco 49ers

Road

Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Buffalo Bills
Los Angeles Rams
Miami Dolphins
Kansas City Chiefs
Seattle Seahawks

Jackson had over 150yds passing and 2 TDs in the 4th quarter so I would not rag on him being a failure just yet.
I doubt his 4th quarter performance is keeping DC’s up at night. The other three quarters were as bad as I’ve seen in the playoffs by a QB. He is not going to run his way to wins in the NFL. I wonder if the Ravens prematurely put their eggs in the Jackson basket.

He is 21 years old not an NFL vet. Sheesh

I believe Jackson's qb rating was 0 in the first half. Not sure that's ever happened in hte playoffs.

How many QBs that had to be taught how to throw after they got to the NFL have had long successful careers?

And he is now 6-2 as a 21 year old NFL rookie with losses to the two best teams in the league and almost led his team back to win today. He's only gonna get better with his accuracy and ball control. Durability will be the main factor. Much rather be in the Ravens position than the Steelers. Browns and Ravens are the class of the North in 2019.

He's 6-2 because the defense has been outstanding and defenses haven't had tape of the offense. They finally played someone twice and records for futility were set. Running QBs that don't know how to throw don't magically learn in the NFL. I stand by my prediction that he isn't starting in 2020. He's Tebow except Tebow got to play the steelers in the playoffs. The Raven's brutal schedule pretty much ensures they won't be a factor in the north next year. I think its Cleveland's division to lose.

Tough schedule yes, but the Ravens will be good enough in conf play and playing the AFC East to be in it at the end. If they are able to actually add some type of threat at WR, that will only help his development. Snead, Brown and Crabtree scare absolutely no one.

They haven’t added a wide receiver threat in the history of the franchise outside of cast offs that are almost over the hill (anquan boldin, Steve Smith sr, Shannon sharpe (yes I know he’s a te)) the next young threat they add at wide receiver will be the first time it’s happened, ever. Closest they’ve come was drafting Torrey Smith. Maybe they’ll go after Larry Fitzgerald.

Go back and look at their drafts. They’ve had historically bad offenses and they’ve gone all defense in subsequent drafts. Won’t surprise me to see them do the same this year.

That was as much a TD as the ravens got later in the game. To me, both were Td’s.

Jackson is like a rookie pitcher in MLB who mows everyone down his first time through the league, and then gets hammered the next time through once teams figure him out. Except Jackson hasn’t really mowed anyone down — it’s been the defense that has won most of those games. He is a turnover machine, and I don’t see that changing. The people expecting him to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come are the same people that were saying the same things about RGIII.

This. The ravens had a defensive or special teams touchdown in 5 of the 6 wins w Lamar.

Was at the game. Spectacular afternoon despite the Ravens loss. How was the Chargers fumble at the goal line and returned 100 yards not a TD for the Ravens? On the video board it looked like the ball was rolling out as the runner was going to the ground.

Yet..they totally sucked without Lamar.

They needed to make a change. I'm not sad to see Flacco go. I don't think Lamar is the long term solution. It's possible to realize it was Joe's time and also realize odds of Lamar being a top flight starting QB are very very low. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

No fear Lamar Jackson is actually young evil genius, Mr. Glass!
