From a post he made on the Lair today:

Want proof? Just look at all the JoeBots, who can't simply say "Joe screwed up, he failed me." Or witness the OSU fans who can't admit Tressel and Woody screwed up. Or witness all the Michigan residents who can't admit the Big 3 were getting beat by foreign competition for decades on end and protectionism wasn't a valid way to fix that.

Context for this is a political discussion, but I hate that phrase.

CountVonNittWitt is an insufferable, indelible "dumbshit" (to steal a phrase :) )

I should have used the phrase "Paterno Loyalists." My fault --- I'll edit that. Not making excuses, but clumsy wording happens when I'm posting at 1:26 AM.

The underlying dynamic, though, I think holds. I do think there is a good deal of overlap between Paterno Loyalists and Trump supporters.

Like you have a clue, like you have ever had a clue.

Why the hell would you even be on that site with those morons posting anti-PSU stuff in the first place - kissing the asses of the group that thinks all PSU fans are Pedo enablers - I say we and not you since I doubt you are really a fan and if you were why the hell go over their and don't give me the "just to talk football" bullsh@t - they only talk hate for PSU over there so I think we all know what a douche you truly are.

And a doucheb*g by any other name is still a doucheb*g; or is it CountVonNitWitless? And is it 'some' of the time? Or ALL of the time? Or just one time (or is that some also)?

Michy - I'm not a loyalist or a 'bot' - I'm a realist who is a professional in the field.

I won't say 'Joe screwed up' because I know with 100% certainty that he didn't screw up, unless you consider doing exactly what you should do with that information, in your role at that time as screwing up ??

As always, thank you for lending professional clarity to this conversation.

Would you like to take the mandated reporter training? Seriously. I can post the link, you can do it online at your leisure. There is no charge.

I'm not what is referred to as a "Joebot". I actually find it repulsive. He was not perfect and I truly wish he would have retired years ago. He didn't. it was his choice.
What happened did occurr partly on his watch and we all must accept that. Back in my working days, stuff happened on my watch and I had to deal with the consequences.

Sometimes I take the approach that he did/should have known. But, when i learned that his kids (Jay included) used to hang out with Jerry at his pool, I change my tune. If Joe trusted his children with him, he didn't know.

Because he likes the attention and they will actually listen to his horse shit. He likes to kiss Buckeye ass as well.

I doubt very much that JVP would have been a Trump supporter. Joe knew bull crap when he heard it.
Don't demean a man who can't defend himself. When your accomplishments approach 20% of Joe's you might be able to comment on what he might or might not do.

I think you've pretty much put the last nail into your own coffin, my man. There is of course no intellectual basis or evidence for that remark, none. You don't know Joe's politics. I'm sure because he was a Republican, you hold that against him. The Republicans of yesteryear were way more moderate than today's bunch, and far more reasonable than many of today's way-left Democrats. You know nothing about what you speak.

There is no reason---none--that you should still be a member of this community. What you say is pure slander.

More like overlap between what comes out of your mouth and what comes out of your ass.

My question is.........why are you on a Pitt site when we don't play them til next year?

I know you sort of meant to defend Joe, but your comment really annoyed me. "Joe did/should have known", "what happened did occur on his watch". Ok, so what are you actually referring to? What kid actually was abused at PSU that had anything to do with Joe/PSU? For the record, I think the entire pedophile angle is complete BS. Joe was collateral damage from a corrupt state government and a corrupt/judgment rushing board of trustees and ratings driven media. But even if you want to believe that JS was this "monster"(despite years of investigation and literally zero evidence), how does that have anything to do with Joe? We now know for certain that Allan Myers wasn't abused in the shower and the janitor incident was total fiction. The tragedy and shame of this story is the lack of due process given to those accused. That is the shame I carry as an alum. My school threw innocent long standing employees under the bus to appease others. What chance do we have of changing the narrative when our own alumni can't get it right.

You don't need to defend yourself when your are wrong. Only when your right. If you're over there looking for acceptance then you're a loser. Just like the pitt guys coming here for acceptance are losers. Hey jump on Michigan's site and pound Meyer. Then mozzy on over to Auburn's site and pound Bama for paying players. Finally hit up WVUs site and tell them how badly the Baylor sex scandal reflects on the entire world. You should have 11 new likes by midnight! Maybe even 1 new pen pal.

And your post does exactly what you're posting loser boy not to do. Your first three sentences undermine your point to the loser going to the pitt site. Your last sentence is a bit off but I get the point. My take is neither one of you should represent Joe's thoughts or actions. So it should be 0% not 20%. If I had to guess what the republican leaning Joe would have done last night I feeling is he would have voted clearly for............. Geez! I almost made the mistake you did.

BTW what's next for Hillary? Do you have a feel for that one as well?

My point was that when you're in charge of an organization, you may not necessarily know what's going on. Nevertheless, It's on your watch as the person in charge. That's how our society views it. I honestly don't think Joe knew and if I was not emphatic enough about it, so be it.

So you think JS was innocent? Legal system rigged the trial? Your take is 20 something victims made the up? MM saw nothing worth reporting? Joe was a media target. They needed their pound of flesh ratings and no one cares about a locked up old guy. God did Joe a favor! As a fellow alum I feel zero shame. There was a massive breakdown of leadership from so many directions it is hard to believe. Because this was the first time something this outrageous occurred at a university level the lack of experience in dealing with something like this was probably impossible to manage for anyone. I guess calling the police would be the only decision Joe could have made that would have satisfied everyone. He did what most of us would have done. Report the incident to his superiors. We pay a price fr the learning curve. Shame is not part of that curve. That is where the narrative needs to evolve to imo.

Come on man! Do you actually doubt Sandusky committed no crimes? He is exactly where he belongs and anyone that is a parent knows what protecting our kids is all about. The scumbag cost Penn St a lot and cost Joe everything!

JS was naive and an idiot, not looking for any sexual fulfillment. It's so obvious. Not 20, I believe 2 that claimed sex when JS goes to trial. The most "credible" being Aaron Fisher and his story is laughable. Penn State University's response literally caused this entire thing. The stupidest decision was firing Joe. They've been trying to justify that single decision to the tune of 100's of millions of $$. Shameful. PSU has been trying to cover up the fact that there was no cover up for 5 years now. That is our shame. When it mattered most, we couldn't give a 61 year employee due process. Simple due process avoids everything.

There was nothing to know, that's my point!
All of the wrong decisions came AFTER JS is arrested in reaction to allegations. The 2001 incident was handled 100% spot on. Why is this so difficult to understand? No abuse occurred according to Meyers.
The PSU BOT could have defended itself with truth and facts and stopped this entire fiasco 5 years ago tonight. This will go down as one of the great pants crappings in the history of human civilization.
CSS should be very leery about a trial despite there being no case against them going on 5 years. The potential jury pool has been almost totally brainwashed.

Just get off my back. It is not difficult to understand. Abuse happened before 2001, did it not? Probably. I'll say it again. I don't think he knew. What part of that don't you understand?
