If only we had program like Pitt...they never lose recruits to other schools! Of course, nobody else wants their recruits, but that is besides the point!!
Ohio State fan who photoshops a Fitz post (completely fake) and it's being retweeted by their fans. Big push from the Ohio State side going after PSU right now. Coaches, fans.

Sounds like depth chart might have been the issue with some...
Before people freak out, look how many decommits the average SEC program sees in a typical year (Alabama included).
This is the future of recruiting -- commitments do not mean commitments for a lot of these kids. But what are you going to do -- you want to recruit them, and you can't exactly turn them down when they want to verbal.
If you want PSU to go after those 3 star Pennsylvania kids, the pluggers, the players Paterno loved, the kids whose other offers are Indiana and Temple and Marshall -- the number of decommits will be much lower.
If you want to play for top 100 players, especially if you get verbals from rising players who are starting to hear from the big boys, decommits are part of the bargain.
I was amazed Franklin got through last year with so few decommits, but that was an unusual class.

Wishful thinking. Fields is a freshman and coming to Ann Arbor this year. It will be interesting to see a coach from the NE (Day) try to inspire the buckeyes with hate to beat TTUN this year.
