If the loss column is all that matters along with conference leader then why isn't Western Michigan a contender at 12-0. they beat 2 B1G teams (NW & Illi) and didn't lose a game. There is subjectivity in the selection process.

I added another post after that (should have just edited the original). You have to be affiliated with a power 5 conference.

The eyeball test is a joke. Why even play the game?

Lol the eye test is a myth. All they did (and ever planned on doing) was take the 4 teams with the least amount of losses in the power 5 conferences. Don't let them fool you, there was absolutely no debate. You and I could have made alot alot of easy money on the committee coming up with that haha... A simple extension of the BCS
