Your Penn State Big 10 road wins you've witnessed in person?

Michigan ‘94

what a party 🍻 in that parking lot afterwards - cops 👮‍♂️ were there

Since Penn State's been in the Big 10, what are your witnessed-in-person Penn State's road wins at the other Big 10 schools stadiums?

With this past Saturday's victory in Madison, my Penn State Big 10 road wins are: Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.

Too few and far between (Illinois in 1994 was terrific). But have been to many, many pre-Big10…like Notre Dame in 1990. Syracuse in 1985, And, of course, Pitt in 1981.

Since 1996, I have not missed a home game and have seen us play 260 out of the last 303 games (not counting last year) In person. prior to those years, hard to figure out home many games I saw but think it’s around 17. So, at 277. I am 51 years old and with some luck and good health another 20 years of not missing a game should get me to close to 600 games.

my away trips to Big 10 venues are as follows
Wisconsin. 5-2
Osu. 1-11
Michigan. 3-8
Illinois. 3-1
Minnesota. 2-2
Iowa. 2-1
Purdue. 4-1
Indiana. 4-1
Northwestern. 4-2
Michigan St. 3-3
Nebraska. 0-1
Rutgers. 3-0
Maryland 3-0
Big 10 title game 1-0

Michigan, ‘94
Indiana (goal line stand)
Purdue a couple years after that
Rutgers a couple of times (pre-Big10 though)
I think that’s it

2018 Illinois
2018 Indiana
2018 Rutgers
2019 Maryland
2019 Iowa
2019 Michigan State
2021 Wisconsin

Northwestern - 2001
Ohio State - 2008
Michigan - 2009

saw them beat up on Maryland a lot in Baltimore, but all before anyone joined the B1G

Michigan 94
Illinois 94
MSU 95
Michigan 96
Purdue 99
Wisconsin multiple including 21

a bunch of inconsequential Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers, MSU games. Been to Iowa 2 or 3 times but I think all losses.

Not too many league roadies for me - good news is they have all been wins.

@Michigan State 2005 when we clinched the B1G
Indiana @FedEx Field (if that counts)
@Maryland @M&T Bank Stadium
@Maryland 2019

Non-con W:

1999 Miami @Orange Bowl
Syracuse @ Dome
Syracuse @ Giants Stadium
SC @ Giants Stadium

Non-con L:

2000 or 2001 SC @Giants Stadium (yuck)

3-3 in Bowl Games:

Orange vs Fla State
Pinstripe vs Boston College
Was it the Tax Bowl or Gator vs Georgia
Rose vs SC
Fiesta vs Washington
Citrus vs Kentucky

Don’t recall the years as we were going often.
MSU, UM, NW, Ill, IU, OSU.
I live with a 3.5 hour drive of all.
Attended back-to-back away games and my son and I would go to the bus area so he could see players. I recall the second game Sean Lee (my son’s hero) looking at him and asking - are you here again?!
Man, those were good times.

The interactions of the pkayers and the traveling PSU crowd at that 2005 season-ender at Michigan St was awesome. PSU was back!

Best was 1996!

PSU 23 Wiscy 20.

Enis vs Dayne!

WOW, hard to believe that was 25 years ago!
I was at that one too. I'd add Iowa from 2017 and tOSU from 2008 and the game vs Purdue when Courtney Brown had a pick 6 vs Brees. If you go pre Big 10, I'd add 1978 at the Shoe.

I would have to look up the games to see the years that I saw PSU win on the road at a B1G stadium, but I know I have seen wins at:

Iowa
Illinois
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Purdue
Northwestern
Michigan State
Indiana
Ohio State
