Oddly enough, Paul Chryst was able to recruit well on the offensive side of the ball except QB. The best would have been Hornibrook but he followed him obviously.
Chryst also walked into a program that was largely built and loaded.
Some people don't like crowds. Pitt has that down pat.
So does that leave the kid who ditched us to play for mighty ND as the heir apparent? [and how do you go from playing the best in the country in front of huge crowds to playing at empty hiney field??... jeez, do i get a flag for that??.. nobody but nobody wants to see that image].
You really have to wonder what happens when a kid looks over here and sees what has happened and frankly what he likely had a huge chance to be part of (of course, no guarantees... maybe Trace simply beats him out anyway... but this offense is tailor-made for.. what the heck was his name??).
Playing for a shot to be in the playoff or at least in the rose bowl... vs team in complete disarray and home for the holidays. But hey, welcome back to NJ, laddie! Enjioy the holidays!
