Mediate, a mostly lefty news outlet reported on the Russia Conspiracy Queen, with the headline, "Rachel Maddow Shreds State Department 'Plan' to Buy 'Armored Teslas'----Fails to Mention Plan Started Under Biden."

For 5 minutes this "women" torched the Armored Teslas as a "paperweight" and mocked the plan as a Taxpayer-funded "giveaway to Musk and a Conflict of Interest."

The problem was of course, Maddow failed to mention, either out of ignorance or intentional misrepresentation that the plan was introduced by the BIDEN ADMINISTRATION in December 2024. Trump of course, will not spend money on electric armored vehicles, and has not authorized the purchase.

Musk had his say on "X" stating "I'M pretty sure Tesla isn't getting $400M. No one has mentioned it to me, at least." In addition, Musk called it a hit piece and accused MADDOW of spreading lies.

It was a massive solar project, over a billion dollars, in the Mohave desert. It was a huge tower with as massive array of solar panels reflecting solar energy to a huge tower to heat liquid sodium.

The article below is terrible as it makes it sound like other energy dot Rs became cheaper and it couldn’t compete. I am sure that competition contributed but there is much more to the story.

This was huge scam from the start. It was supposed to heat up to melt the sodium and stay hot enough all night to operate. A true greenie wet dream.

But it didn’t attain the peak temps designed and cooled off too much at night.

So they built a natural gas line to it and a gas turbine to get it during the night. Even with that it still didn’t generate electricity to its targeted levels.

So it didn’t work. Needed supplemental heat, had huge cost overruns and failed to meet its goals.

More liberal leaders need to protest in this same manner.

Fox Highlights Big Market Drop After Trump’s Tariff News​

Fox News hosts were in damage control after the Dow fell over 200 points after Donald Trump’s announcement that tariffs against Mexico, China and Canada would begin on Feb. 1.

Anchor Sandra Smith called the drop “not a huge sell-off, but certainly a reaction.”

“Well they’ve still got 10 hours to try and avoid tariffs,” anchor John Roberts said. “I wouldn’t be surprised if the president hears from Canada and hears from Mexico. Maybe he gets a call from his friend Xi Jinping.”
Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said Trump would impose a 25 percent tariff on Mexico and Canada, as well as a 10 percent duty on China because of “the illegal fentanyl that they have sourced and allowed to distribute into our country.”

“These are promises made and promises kept by the president,” Leavitt said at a press conference Friday.

It happened today while in Europe. The Secretary of Defense wasted no time explaining reality to Ukraine and our NATO allies:

-- No NATO membership for Ukraine

-- No return to Ukraine's pre-2014 borders

-- Ukraine is a European problem as the U.S. shifts focus to securing its own borders and deterring China

-- U.S. troops will not be involved in any kind of post-conflict peacekeeping role in Ukraine

You may recall that the basic Russian demand before its 2022 invasion was a legal guarantee of non-NATO membership for Ukraine.

So three years later, with Ukraine wrecked, $100 billion-plus American taxpayer dollars down the drain, the geopolitical order of the globe shaken, and American interests badly damaged, we're told: no NATO membership for Ukraine.

Which leads to the question, what in the friggin' world was this whole fiasco for exactly.

Naturally, some of Senile Joe's puppeteers, the ones who walked him (and Ukraine) into this disaster, are already making their disapproval of Pete's statements clear. Of course, in a sane world, these people would be pariahs for all the damage they've done. But Trump notwithstanding, we don't live in a sane world:
