Being a Spurs fan, of which I am one, is not the point. It's the fact that a bar named Founding Fathers is a designated viewing location for English football. Can it also be booked for cricket?
Anyone that missed that Man City vs Spurs EUFA quarterfinal yesterday missed one of the most compelling matches all year. Crazy start to finish.
Wow, good match, City up 1-0 at the half. Tottenham playing with real fire, very impressive. That one-on-four rush near the half by the Spur, wow, that would have made the goals-of-the-decade list were it not perfectly played by the City keeper.Let's go Spurs!!
It's gonna be a Son-ny day in Manchester.
Can you more knowledgeable guys explain how these teams have only played 44 times? They play twice a year and the league has been around for a long time. Were either or both of them on lower levels for a long time?

Ah, I see. Arbitrary. It's like those NFL fans who think the league history began with the Super Bowl. They have played way more than 44 times.
I would guess that they have played 44 times in the premier league, which was formed in 1992.
Before that they played in the first division, which later became the "championship league" (basically division 2).
Fixed it for youAh, I see. Arbitrary. It's like those Steeler fans who think the league history began with the Super Bowl.
Thanks, GG
2-0 at the half. Both goals were superb, especially the second, which was a long shot after a great counter. Good soccer.Everton up 2-0 on United after 31’. Excellent. Arsenal should handle CP at home, so if this result holds that would make for a great weekend for the Gunners.

4-0.A rocket from outside the box and it’s 3-0.
Yeah, it would be the upset of the century if United beats City in Wednesday.Woof. Looking more and more like it will only be a three-team race for the final two CL spots. Good news for my Gunners.
QUICK. TRIGGER. FINGER. BOBPSU92.
Shhhh. We just need a draw.Yeah, it would be the upset of the century if United beats City in Wednesday.
Bite me.What happened to the Gunners today? Have Man U disease?
Spurs have a legit chance to reach the final. There, they will be the underdog. But, in a 1 game final, anything can happen. As much as I don't care to see Spuds win it, I am sick of Barca and I can't root for Liverpool.
CliffsNote: c'mon Ajax!!

Pathetic performance for Arsenal. Limited options for Emery, but that defense was putrid. Mustafi wouldn't start for my New York Red Bulls. Big changes at the back needed this summer to become a serious contender. My high school basketball coach used to tell us that we could score 100 points per game.... But couldn't stop the other team from scoring 101. That was Arsenal yesterday.

As Alphabets said, the defense was dysfunctional. It is what it is. It's not coaching, I don't think, it's personnel.I didn't see the Arsenal-Crystal Palace match yesterday, but if I remember correctly reading the box score, Arsenal possessed the ball 73% of the match. Obviously Palace were efficient, plus I noted the comments above about Arsenal's defense. Still, when you have the ball about three-quarters of the match, you should win.
Sorry, LionJim.
