Arsenal won, now in fifth, two points behind Chelsea and one behind TH. It seems to me that Chelsea has enough of a goal differential to hold onto at least fourth with a draw. Arsenal win and TH draw puts Arsenal in fourth, TH fifth.

I see Arsenal and Brighton tied, 1-1, in the 83rd minute.

Thanks, got a little ahead of myself. Not watching the match.

Apparently the standings I checked are tabulated as “if the current situation holds.” It had Arsenal as playing 37 matches, although there was some indication that the match was still in progress, which I didn’t pick up on.

If Arsenal draws, no way they displace either Chelsea or Totttenham.

Salah will be fine.

Liverpool is back on top.

All is right with the world.

Cheap-ass cricket rich boy quiet for now.
Sorry to say, enjoy your time at the top today because Liverpool ain't winning anything this year
What a shit show.

The only excitement next Sunday will be MC at Brighton.
I feel your pain. Spurs have turned into a shit show too and I think big changes are coming in regards to some players going bye bye, like Ericksen. Son will be out for last EPL game and first two games next season due to violent red card category. Nice we won’t have a scorer for final game vs Everton.

You have to wonder how good the EPL is with Chelsea looking to finish third and TH, Arsenal, and MU each crapping the bed down the stretch.

Encouraging news about Mo Salah:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/05/foot...ions-league-premier-league-spt-int/index.html

""He was OK," Klopp said after the match, further revealing that the player, who scored Liverpool's second goal in a thrilling 3-2 win, watched the rest of the match in the dressing room.

"The doctor had to make a decision - on the pitch or off the pitch - and the decision was off the pitch and we accept that of course.

"When we came in, he was sitting in the dressing room and had watched the game. He was then fine but of course we have to wait. He got a proper knock in that situation. We'll have to see.""

You know rude, some people will exult in Liverpool finishing 2nd but, to me, it is still a great season sir!

You can't take that away from them sir.

Great, great season.

Richie-Rich LaJolla comes to mind.

Good season for you guys...tough that the drought continues....I feel for you guys...except theGlov. ;)

Are you sure you are a United fan? It requires you to hate all things Liverpool with an intense passion. You aren’t allowed to feel anything but contempt for them. :)

That strike by Kompany was outrageous--from 30 yards away and hitting the top corner of the net. A great way for a player to cap off his career.

One of my all-time favorites. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him have a bad game. Always there around the ball, always a force.

Over the past couple of years, you could tell that father time is catching up with him. But he still has enough innate talent and understanding of the game to compete at the highest level. I believe it was his first goal in over a year. If it was his last one in the EPL, he made it count.

Yeah....but I certainly don't like City either. Basically like choosing between dog sh!t and cat Sh!t. ;)

The pleasure I derive from Liverpool winning no silverware... again... is all that is sustaining me now. United is crap and it doesn’t look like they will be a title contender any time soon.

Thanks for chiming in. I’m really just a fanboy, not an expert on either teams or tactics, so I would have overlooked VK’s leaving if not for your contribution.
