I suppose everything he has said up to this point regarding the importance of academics could all be BS, but who knows?
Kids family is high on academics right? That helps us ( and Michigan) a lot

That sounds about right. I saw one of the other coaches do it (Rahne? Pry?) with Freiermuth and thought I was missing something with Franklin.
It's odd they only have 11 commitments so far. They still have room for another 20-25 kids in this class.

As usual, the end of the recruiting season can't get here fast enough. It's time to move on to a new group of self-absorbed adolescents that we can fawn over.
If true, do you think we make a push at Raines? Regardless, I think Young was the far better prospect.

I would think Raines would be the logical choice to replace him, if indeed he departs.
That can be read to mean somebody is about to commit. (Trying to see rainbows.)
Assuming this happens, I think our depth now allows us to just move to the next highest rated prospect on our board. We don't necessarily have to replace a safety with a safety anymore. We may just move on to a highly rated WR or OL if we lose Young. Could fill a Safety spot in the 2019 class if we need to instead of doing it immediately in this class.
I still lose sleep over the fact that we didn’t get Bragalone.

Pinegar had a torn meniscus in his non-kicking knee, and a strained ACL in that same knee. This was diagnosed in September. I think I read somewhere that he has already had surgery and on the mend.... but remember, I am old and my memory is too.
That is all correct, this may be something new. Will try to confirm. I assume he knew about the Sept. injury.
