Maybe the rules have changed since my day. A whizzer position isnt neutral anymore? Yianni did absolutely nothing in that match. McKenna lost because he was aggressive. And you've gotta love the kid that got in on the legs 4 times to none getting hit with the only stall. That match was wuf for me.

Founding myself rooting for Suriano as that match went on. I didn't think that would happen.
McKenna and Yianni are both good kids and great wrestlers. I thought the ref got both calls wrong. Which is a shame, as it was a well wrestled match.
By the way, if you are watching at home and not streaming the "Off the Mat" you have to watch it later. Suriano's dad losing it and screaming at John Smith is pure gold. Also, Yianni's mom isn't bad at all.

Yes, he got an early takedown, but he did not take another step forward after that, for two periods.
His strategy was obviously to get an early lead and then play defense. It didn't work. Even that last shot he took in the 3rd was very obviously designed to stop another stall call and kill time.
I'm sorry, but this hands to the face call has to go. It's wrestling, not patty cake. There was already an unnecessary roughness call for the over the top shots to the face.
I have a feeling Ashnault is going to torture Jordan on top if he gets the chance.

Don't know about torture, but the kid wrestled a dominant match. Great win.
