2019 weight class moves?

Let's have some fun with who we think will move up or down in 2019, across the landscape. I'll get it started with a few thoughts and possible moves...

Yianni to 149 to make room for Aurjau?
Zahid to 184 so his brother can have a cheeseburger for the first time in two years?
Micah down to 149 because he can finally avoid both Zain and Jason?
Hayes down to 141 and McKenna redshirts?

A bunch of others but those came to mind first

I agree although it seems we were both wrong last year. I just don't see how he does it.

It is amazing how much bigger he looks than Hall. I would love to know what he was weighing at the time of that match.

Wilcke of Iowa will most likely go down to 184 his more natural weight.

Apparently Ohio State has a transfer on the way at 125. Not Picc, who might be headed to Hofstra. Which means Fix stays at 125? How about Moore to Hwy? Is this a possible?

I think this was already discussed, but I can't see Moore going to heavy, particularly with Singletary coming off his redshirt year. Singletary is the heir apparent to Snyder.

Hard to imagine Tanmen getting close to Snyders' points total with Singletary, although the weight class opens up a bit without Coon, Desi, etc...then again I have not seen Singletary, does he have the same talent as Snyd

Hard to picture Wilson from NC State holding 133 with that much length. Man, that guy is a lanky 133 pounder!

And, I think Alber needs to suck up the weight cut-a lot of folks have a heck of a harder time making 133 than him-and go back down to 133, where he'd likely have better results. He's a pretty soft 141 pounder.

Singletary isn’t in the same Area Code as Snyder. That said, Kollin Moore not holding 197 really hoses their plans for the next few years I would think.

Steveson is the only incoming HWT with talent comparable to Snyder.

Singletary had a good W-L record this year but it was empty, and he had a couple really bad losses. Guessing he'll start over Kevin Snyder, but he's gonna need some time.

Without knowing how he looks in the tanning room, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ryan recruited over him and went after Schultz. If Schultz were to grayshirt + tanshirt, they'd have max 1 year overlap. (I expect Schultz to go to the natural tan school in Tempe, but you never know.)

It was really weird going to PA states this year and seeing Lizak's younger brother ....

Good point with Hayes...I kind of like the idea since you put it that way. Actually I thought the same with the idea of McKenna redshirting and at 141 in two years. Going into this season people were speculating he wanted to be at 149.

So, assuming Myles Martin RS's, Zahid will be Bo's biggest challenger next year, right? Zahid's done pretty well against Bo. I found 2 recent videos of Bo losing 2-1 and 8-2 to Zahid.

I have read a couple times (just forum gossip) that Braxton Amos (current HS sophomore) is interested in Ohio State.

You think they stay at Wisconsin? It sounds like Davis was big in their decision to commit. I guess that will partially hinge on who replaces Barry.
