I know it's been discussed before about PA high school football being down compared to the past. Looking at commitments for each school, PSU has one PA kid-Nick Dawkins. The kid from Lackawanna is originally from MD. Pitt has no commits from PA.
The few top PA rated kids are choosing to go elsewhere. Where am I going with this, not exactly sure.
* There is less depth in the talent pool in PA. Missing on the top kids makes it more challenging because we need to go out of state where the odds become more difficult of landing top prospects
* The only way to fix this is to win and beat OSU, Michigan, and MSU
* Recent coaching misfires are being used to negative recruit
* Franklin's rant at the end of OSU is being used against him. Needs to learn from that just like the "Dominate the State" comment
* Franklin probably should have gone outside the staff for another OC. I think Rahne gets this year to produce or he gets shown the door
We need wins or we can get used to our commitment list looking like Pitt's. Full of 3 stars and stuck in mediocrity.
