Well, the potential Donnell Washington personal vendetta factor for Starocci is now gone. Washington loses his first round match to Sparks of Minnesota.

I'll gladly take the tech but I thought at least one 4 pt nearfall was quick counted. Wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of that.
Agree; the ref was quick wih a couple near-fall counts; for instance, the first 3-point swipe might have really been a 2-point swipe. Not that this had any influence whatsoever in the outcome of the bout.
