I’m listening to Byers, but did Gibbons and Johnson happen to note that Davis looks smaller than he did last match?
I’ve never before seen a wrestler have a double leg and the guy up in the air over his shoulder and just deliberately walk OOB
It most definitely should have been a danger TD but I doubt they’ll overturn it.
Davis tries to wrestle his matches like Bartlett but is nowhere close to Bartlett's defense. He'll continue to lose if that's what he does.
I still don’t know what takedowns are.

Can't protest too much about that result, but seems I've seen similar positions not be called a TD.
Guess they are just randomly calling 3.

I think wrestling could help itself to have one ref completely assigned to danger/backs. Not that it was necessarily here with Davis but in pretty much every match wrestled there are seconds missed on danger/backs.
I never see that leg lock position given a td.
Literally, If you have a leg, there is no td.

Bartlett snaps & tries to come behind, but can't get there, 2-min left. Bartlett snaps & comes behind for another TD, 6-1. Bartlett looks for a tilt, but can't lock it up. Bartlett gives up the escape, 6-2. Bartlett tries a duck, but no luck. Tying up & circling, 30-sec left. Bartlett drives Clark out of bounds. Stall call on Clark, neutral restart. More circling to end the period. 6-2 Bartlett after the 1st.

Clark takes neutral. Circling, tying up & pushing, ear to ear. Bartlett shoots & gets a leg. Clark locks through the crotch. Bartlett keeps working & gets the TD, 9-2. Bartlett gets Clark bellied out & goes over 1-min RT. Bartlett locks up a cradle, but runs out of time before he can do anything with it. 9-2 Bartlett after two.
Period 3:
Bartlett takes down. He gets to a quadpod, then is tripped back down. Bartlett gets back to a quadpod, then to his feet, but Clark takes him back to the mat. RT goes under 1-min. Bartlett gets to his feet & gets the escape, 10-2. RT is at +50-sec for Bartlett. Bartlett snaps & comes behind for another TD, 13-2. Bartlett cuts Clark, 13-3. Bartlett snaps & then goes back to tying up. More circling & tying up to end the period.

I like Davis’ grit. Needed to shoot more but a tough kid.
The Rut kid deserves that win. Davis didn't do much anything other than hang on.
I think that was a td from Shawver BUT Davis should have had neutral danger called there
I have not been able to watch yet but how many times has Tim Johnson said "Nebraskaaa out in front in the team standings" ?
I think being injured messed with his confidence and development.

He 100% will get an at large if he needs it.
Hats off to Shawver. Didn't understand his carrying Davis, not once but twice, but I've never seen a leg controlled and the opponent getting a td.
He'd have been better to continue doing nothing those last 30 seconds. Lol
