1) We didn't need OT to beat a pretty good Buffalo team. PSU vs. Appy State last year... Michigan vs. Army today.
2) We're not Tennessee. If you think big bucks and the ability to draw over 100K fans for a home game is enough to keep a program from spiraling...look no further than Tennessee. How many consecutive years now have they not been relevant?
3) We're not FSU. That was a program that had over 30 consecutive years of bowl appearances. In the south with hot babes and a recruiting hotbed in their back yard. And yet...look at FSU.
4) Our defense isn't as bad as Texas.
I don't know how this season will finish, but I'm not ready to get rid of CJF and pick behind door #2 for the next coach like Tennessee and FSU did.
