a play took place that would be deemed the most memorable play in NFL history.

A play that foreshadowed a dynasty to come of the greatest professional football team of all-time.

A play made by a Penn Stater that would become legendary and foreshadow his greatness on the way to a Hall-of-Fame career.

A play that could only be called....
Immaculate.

And a play that may have been overturned with today's replay technology :)

I was there and I will never forget it.

It’s allowed now. Illegal back then.

Understood. Just making a crack about the stupidity of the NFL and how convoluted the rules have gotten. Back then, you played football. Now you play a little football, do some acting, take a few breaks during the game to watch some TV for replays. It’s an entirely different game, and not for the better in my book.

I think we all got away with things back in the day that would be overturned now.

And yet, there are still all kinds of plays that get missed. OSU non interceptions. Today, Foles nearly got his head ripped off and it was missed. They call roughing the passer on one play, then completely ignore it on the next. I think there’s as much confusion now as ever.

I really don't have a clue as to what's going through the referees' heads nowadays.
