#99 queston

I forgot to ask this in my Obli's Observations. 99 is in on a tackle at one point against Wiscy. Can't remember when. But when he comes off the field, CJF grabs him and has a short discussion with him. Did anyone catch that? CJF wasn't mad, but he seemed to be coaching him up. My impression was that CJF has, perhaps, told him to stop making tackles..be more of a safety. Looked to me like CJF was nicely telling him that he didn't need to get caught up in a pileup. We need him to be healthy and kick.

Funny.... I saw that too and wondered the same thing.... I could not think of anything else he might be telling him... except....your legs are gold.... keep that in mind. CJF was not animated .... looked instructive to me.

Yeah, we don't need some special teams guy doing a Burfict on Joey. His kickoffs (and our coverage teams) against Wisconsin were a key factor.

While on the subject of special teams, Garrity and Reid fielding the punts and not allowing any to hit the ground was nice to see. That drove me nuts in the Iowa game.
