A heads up on Wisky PBP

Jimmy really put on a clinic there. He's looking really good right now. It looks like he has confidence and he's finishing his shots like a madman. Looks like he's been working with Nico a little to be honest with the way he finished a couple of those shots.

Brooks just came from behind and rode out MyMar for a 5-3 win. Had riding time too.

Think Retherford had him pinned for five seconds. Not sure what the delay was.

Iowa looks like it'll take that dual against the Buckeyes, setting up a potential Orange Bowl. If Kyle Snyder were there there'd have been a pretty legit chance to win it with a pin.

If Snyder was there at 285, this would be a one point victory for tOSU....let's see how his backup does.

Nice night.

The obvious things to like were Nolf, Retherford, and Nickal getting falls. Gulibon gets my OW, though. He looked like an animal out there tonight. He was changing levels, and he was shooting that high crotch which he's always been able to get but he was finally switching over to the double instead of hanging onto the leg and losing a scramble.

I thought Nick looked good and could have won.

The bad was both Nolf and VJ. Nolf tweaked his ankle early in the first and got up slow. Even though he was able to get the fall he looked lethargic after that. It didn't look serious but I hate to see him even tweak anything.

And of course VJ with the baffling last 20 seconds of the third.

At HWT now in Mizzou, tied with OSU 16-16, will need Schafer to beat Myers. He's up 4-1.

9 at Nationals. Ok, it is what it is. We've done it before with 8, so there is that. Most likely only Ok. st will take all 10.

Rogers got beat tonight I hear.

Board flipping poor loser (and poor winner, evidently)! As seen on tv coercing the Iowa fans to join into a stall chant. I'm glad Iowa is trying affect outcomes with this strategy as opposed to ours, which is called teaching OFFENSE!

I can't decide if I like Tom and Terry. There are times when I think they are endearing to the sport and then I see how their guys act after matches and the ridiculous antics during matches with them looking like lunatics out there.

I mean, to be fair if I were a coach I'd act just like that, but I'd also be a lunatic and it's why I won't coach anything ever, because I'm a lunatic when it comes to sports and I know it.

It was only Carton that he beat last week but coming back like he did with a TD clinic in the third at a hostile CHA may have been the best thing that's happened to him in awhile. He really did look legit tonight, no hesitation.

for those of us not watching, anyone care to highlight some things not mentioned yet? how did nolf pin? how did bo pin? did hall turn his guy?

I have to go back and re-watch but Hall hit a nice move for a feet to back... was kind of a foot sweep or inside trip to back and 4 NF. Sweet set up.

The kid stalled and clutched the final 15 seconds to avoid the Tech

Good for you, jrd23. Rule #1 is to know thy limitations...and I can appreciate someone who can admit to their weaknesses. I've got em too, no doubt!
