Wrong rmem, animals & people with rabies go mad, I just get very angry. I'm tired and very concerned of so much incompetence on the work scene, professional or blue color, that countries with hardened work ethics and anvanced engineering/science aptitudes will own the U S of A.You must really get mad about a lot of things. Jeez.
Not only that, the students are with it and enamored with the alma mater... They have me swaying left to right while singing. No, they don't. They know the words and sing. We were a bunch of apathetic ne'er do wells. I can remember some people really belting out that line over and over again.
Doesn't matter. Score board or no scoreboard, the lyrics displayed are a half sentence behind the band and students.I always had heard the "We don't know the GD words" was from when they changed the words to make them less gender specific in the 70s. They changed the words, thus the students literally did not know the words.
And the previously mentioned "did not have a huge ass scoreboard to put the words up so each word is the size of a small SUV" added to, well not knowing the words.
This the guy?My wife is an alum"82". I am not. When it's time to sing the school song I put my arm around her shoulder while she sings. This Saturday a young man sat beside her " a 16 alum" and he asked her if he could put his arm around her shoulder while they proudly sang their school song.
