I have to confess some doubts. I would not have said out loud but they weighed on me hard on the lead up to the NCAA tourney. They weighed on me intensely each round. And they never panned out. My doubts:
In the quarters:
Epperly will outsize-out position- out control Hall and Hall will be unable to finish his takedowns.
In the semis:
There is no way VJ can beat Massa
There is no way Hall can beat Valencia
In the Finals
There is no way VJ can beat Imar
There is no way Bo can beat Dean
( I did actually feel confident that Hall would smoke BoJo)
I feel like Cael is teaching all of us something very important about life and human potential. For me it's about courage-faith-and hard work. What is it for you?

The two that I didn't think would happen prior to nationals were the Hall - Valencia and Cenzo - IMAR matches. The others I thought we could win. I just thought Valencia was a bad matchup for Hall and IMAR was IMAR, although after the qtrs and semis, I thought IMAR was vulnerable.

This is an important point. Preparation is such an obvious aspect of the season that relating it to everyday life can be overlooked. I will be talking about this with my wife and my kids this week and looking at how I'm preparing for success in the areas of my life that matter most to me.

Had they wrestled in folkstyle? Massa beat him in freestyle (in the semis at Junior Nationals last year). I don't think they've met in college. And I thought Joseph was two or three weight classes below him in high school?
