I touched base with 6-4, 308 pound grad transfer offensive lineman Ryan Alexander out of South Alabama.
He's interested in Penn State and Penn State is interested in him.
He took a redshirt in 2015 with the Jaguars, but has played ever since and played quite a bit, including all 12 games this past season and 26 starts for his career. He started in 11 games this past season at right tackle, and started all 12 games the year prior at right tackle. Now, he's in the grad transfer portal.
Alexander said that Nittany Lion offensive coordinator Ricky Rahne was in to see him yesterday, and that Penn State is pushing to get him on campus for a visit. They haven't yet nailed down an opportunity to solidify that visit, but Alexander does seem interested. He's looking to make his decision by March.
