Any doubts? PSU > UM despite media hype

I was happy with the result today for a ton of reasons, but no more than the "Michigan is back, see we told you in the preseason rankings" talk from the media. They beat 4 bad teams, the ND result was impressive, fine, but after that, forget it. You lose by that margin, at home none the less, with as a 9 point underdog? Michigan sucks, penn state would never surrender a loss like that at home. It's pathetic. I don't want to hear or see anything about michigan for a long time, but unfortunately, they will be preseason top 10 and "sleeper pick" for the NC again next year.

In all honesty, I think if you line us up against UM on a neutral field now, we lose. I don't think our offense could put up 28 against them again...
That’s impossible to say...maybe with Clifford hurt, yes.

Need to see how Wisconsin plays OSU next week to determine. If, say, 59-0 happens again, then I think a strong case for PSU to the Rose can be made.

Wait a minute. I heard the talking heads the past few weeks. Didn’t we lose to um?

Doesn’t matter, they will have three losses a d we will be ranked higher.

Unless they beat the Bucknuts or the game is decided in the final minute, a 3-loss Whiskey team gets ranked lower than PSU. I believe that committee will factor in the starting QB and potential first-round DE sat today.

Our schedule was far stronger than PSUs. If Penn State plays that same schedule... 3-4 losses.

Of course yours was more difficult. You played us and we played you.:)
As an aside, and I know it will change after today, Sagarin had us playing the 12th most difficult schedule and Michigan 24th.

Where is this media hype that said Michigan is better than Penn State? I swear, some of you Penn State fans are paranoid...

How many losses would Michigan have if they played Michigan's schedule?? Oh yeah, three........

How did the head-to-head work out for you??

We could say the same thing about the end of the 2016 season. Penn State was clearly a different team, a better team then the one that was destroyed in Ann Arbor earlier that year.

But you know what? There are no mulligans in college football, unless you meet that team again in a conference championship or playoff game. That's the way it goes, and everybody knows that going in.

luckily we don't have to do that, but I agree with you.

How did the last to trips go? Total ass kickings. You want to proclaim you are better than, then beat them at their place like OSU

How did Paterno do against Michigan at their place, JoeBot? Can't get the bat off your shoulders on that one, huh?
