Perhaps this is how I should I phrased it in my post. While the team was not hot before the OSU game, it seemed like they dropped a few gears in the fourth quarter of that game and never picked them back up leading to much closer results later on than perhaps we might have expected before.Yeah, that’s fair. This team is flawed and some of the flaws have been exploited.
Certainly I would have expected a blowout against Rutgers and the Wisconsin game could have potentially turned into one as well. (That's a team the year really went sideways on)
In the end, if the team takes care of business, we are likely all going to just have to be "disappointed" with a third consecutive ten+ win season when it could have been as few as eight or as many as twelve with a few different plays here and there.
