The Big Ten’s new bowl lineup will allow teams and fans to visit world-class cities while having the opportunity to experience 11 different NFL stadiums, along with some of the most iconic venues in the country, including Rose Bowl Stadium and Yankee Stadium. These outstanding facilities have hosted or will host 29 different Super Bowls in nine different stadiums. In addition, new partnerships in Charlotte and Las Vegas will create opportunities for new postseason experiences for participants and fans, while the conference returns to Phoenix for the first time since the 2013 postseason.

Will we win any?

I was hoping the Big Ten would work out something in the new Vegas stadium. It's a six year deal with a PAC team facing either a Big Ten or SEC team with each of those conferences being represented three out of the six years. With the right management the Las Vegas Bowl could turn into a pretty big deal. It'd be better than going to Arlington, TX to play in Jerry World.

I hope they come up with a better name than The Las Vegas Bowl in the future.

I wonder, and doubt, that they would allow a casino to sponsor it. That may be old days thinking, and maybe those 'rules' have loosened lately.

The Golden Nugget Las Vegas Bowl.
The Harrah's LV Bowl.

The Chicken Ranch LV Bowl. Think of the logo possibilities for THAT one! And the gift bags for the players and coaches. And coaches' wives.....

But we'll probably end up with The Las Vegas Tourism Bureau Bowl or something equally exciting.

I thought it woulda been because of the Chicken Ranch Bowl comment, but I'll take it!

It’s the Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl. B1G’s first appearance will be in 2021.

In the words of the great Joanne Worley..... "BOOORING!!" (Couldn't find a gif).

Maybe if they have Dan Tanna drive a (yawn) Mitsubishi over to the Chicken Ranch for a test spin, and then trade it in for a '57 T-Bird, we'll have us a fun sponsorship. It's Vegas!

Not aimed at you personally, WanderSpec. Just sayin'.

I thought the Chicken Ranch was the place the winner of the Texas-Texas A&M game went to.

Btw reading that ... does that Big Ten have a tie in with BOTH the Rose and Orange Bowl now?

The Big Ten tie-in to the Orange Bowl is 6-1/2 years old and unchanged. It's part of a somewhat complicated secondary tie-in that also includes the SEC and Notre Dame and lasts until 2025. In years when the Orange is not a site of a CFP game, it's to take the highest ranked available team from among the Big Ten, SEC, and ND as an opponent for an ACC. Big Ten is guaranteed three games over the term, of which two have been used.
