33-14 is a convincing win. The outcome was never in doubt, but most of us wanted a drubbing and that did not happen.
I thought the defense played well. They turned the ball over, made a couple of red zone stops and scored a safety. Pitt was able to run the ball a bit, but the play that seemed to kill us was the shovel pass. That needs to be cleaned up.
The offense never found a rhythm. It was not McSorley's best game even with 3 TD passes. He missed a bunch of passes at critical times with wide open receivers. Barkley had a good game, but not enough touches. They need to ride him more, especially when Trace's game is off.
Pitt's kicking game was very good. Their punter had terrific hang time and good distance. All but one (I believe) kick off was a touch back . Their kicker was very good.
