Pray for @Dan_Bernstein's soul. It sure seems to have worked with @DesmondHoward, who's mysteriously shut his pie-hole.

Chicago is even more magical.......

Folks there can apparently live for years and years - even AFTER being brain donors.

There will always be some that refuse to acknowledge the truth...

Becase there will be a day of reckoning. When that day comes, I want everyone here to be fully aware of the vile filth that old Danny boy's been spewing about our school.

Chi - you are a good guy and enjoy your posts, but I have to say that I disagree with posting this guy's dreck here. We know who the villains are, we know who are the members of the lecherous audience.....and THEY know who they are.

We will cross them off our list, one by one - it will be like the final scenes of the Godfather, while the baby is being christened.

Thanks for posting, Chi. With the cabal clearly stalling in an attempt to lull us all to sleep, it's good to be reminded of what the anger feels like (and why We feel it).

Assume the BoT had suspended Paterno, like they did with Curley. The public's perception would still be the same. Once the investigator raised the issue of "moral" inaction at the initial press conference, coupled with Joe's "wish I had done more" statement, and the Freeh report, the die was cast. I'm not suggesting the BoT handled it well at all, but I think the public perception would not be significantly different had Paterno simply been suspended. The media made it a Paterno issue.

The media took its cue from the board. The board sealed Paterno's media fate (& continues to do so).

The real source of he problem in this is whoever painted the halo. They're virtually begging people to make fun of PSU fans when they do that. In fact, it wouldn't shock me if whoever painted the halo was someone doing it to purposely make PSU fans look bad.

You seem to be a little bit confused.
Trustees Surma, Corbett, Suhey, and Joyner were feeding negative info to the press, shaping the media narrative from the outset (November 2011).
Trustees Frazier and Tomalis told Freeh what to write (July 2012).
The trustees were not the innocent bystanders that you claim them to be. They were driving the bus.

Not that you're interested in any actual facts or anything, but try reading this.

Okay, so some artist did it on purpose. The point still stands though. It's just begging people to make fun. The fact that the artist doesn't see it that way just shows how out of touch he is.

Putting a halo on anyone, other than in a clearly joking matter, is an invitation to ridicule.

Everything Pilato does is for attention, so this doesn't surprise me. He never should have taken the halos off in the first place and he certainly doesn't need to call all the tv stations to have them their filming any time he changes anything on the murals.

I personally know the person who painted the mural and the halo. Suffice it to say, you're all wet.

In fact, my father and my 2 sons are on the mural in one of the window portraits on the wall.

You know what? I don't give a rats ass what anyone else thinks. I don't care if the whole damn country makes fun of Penn State. I'm tired of walking on egg shells over the Sandusky Scandal. I intend to raise my voice, loudly if necessary, any time someone tries to tie Joe Paterno, and the entire Penn State community, to the deviant behavior of one man. It's time to stand up against this ongoing bullshit or it will never end.

It's long past time for the people of Penn State to stop giving an eff what other people think. We should have stuck up for ourselves from day one. Paterno had nothing to do with Sandusky's crimes. The Penn State community had nothing to do with Sandusky's crimes. Pedophiles exist in every community in this country. Are you responsible for the one who lives on YOUR block?

That's not the point. The Sandusky stuff could never have happened and on top of that JVP could have spent all his spare time feeding starving kids in the developing world and people would still make fun about a halo over his head and that's because putting a halo over a persons head is ridiculous.

There's a halo over the head of every deceased person in that mural. It's to indicate they are no longer with us.
Stop being an @$$.

The artist gave his reason for the halos. I accept it and applaud his decision. You do not. Life goes on.
