Allocations per weight class if season ended today based on meeting 2 out of 3 criteria. I assumed 70% win percent, Top 30 coaches, and Top 30 RPI as the criteria. I know this isn’t official but fairly close to see where each weight class stands.

Just noticed it didn’t keep my spacing after I posted it. Probably because I did it on my iPad. Just to clarify, first number is win%, second is coaches ranking, and third is RPI

It wasn't because you were on your Ipad. It's because Rivals sucks with formatting stuff like that.

Agreed, that gives him a great chance, but no room for error in wrestlebacks assuming he catches Suriano or Lee early.
Since he'll ilkely be the 14 or maybe 13 seed, his most likely opening opponent is Tomasello or maybe Rivera. Not that they're any great bargain.

Couldn't find it quickly...do you remember the thread where this was discussed in detail? Much of what could be added to this thread has already been discussed, and it might be helpful to link to that thread.

Actually, with 10 spots he would need to win his 1st consy and then if he loses the next one he would go into the 4 man mini tourney and with 2 spots available he would need to win 1 more match in the consys to get an NCAA spot. Personally I hope he wins at least 2 in a row in the consys so he places in the top 8 and gets us some more team points as the team race at BIGs is looking very tight. I am assuming that Nolf goes at BIGs.

No, but I can rattle it off fairly quickly ...

His scenarios are:
- Start 2-0 -- clinch 6th, in
- Start 2-1 -- clinch 8th, in
- Start 1-2 -- go into 4-man mini-tourney for 9th/10th
- Start 0-2 -- go home

If he's the 14 seed, he'll open with Tomasello.
- If he wins, he'll likely next get Mattin or Welch. If he wins that, he's min 6th; if he loses that, he gets a winnable consi match.
- If he loses to Nato, then he opens consis with Maginnis. Win that, and then he likely gets Mattin or Welch.

If he's the 13 seed, he'll open with Rivera. Basically the same path, except Consi Round 1 would be Cray instead of Maginnis.

Thanks E-J...added was a detailed explanation of bonus bouts if 9 or more allocation slots are awarded. I see NoVa covered it...but I'll try to find what was posted a week or so ago.

Piotrowski meets silver standard at 125
McKee meets silver standard at 133
Massa meets silver standard at 165
Beazley meets silver standard at 197.

Am I missing something?

Understand why Nato and Snyder are excluded (less than 8 matches) but they will earn an allocation.
That's what I get for using my database for winning percentage, rather than the TrackWrestling one...at least regarding Piotrowski and McKee. The two Michigan wrestlers are 9-4 and 11-5, respectively, which are outside of the minimum .700 threshold.

Edit: Disclaimer put into article.

I used wrestlestat but just realized they included a victory for each over a non-d1 wrestler in the win% so that would put them both below the 70%. I updated the allocations on my previous post
