So OSU must be listed first by alphabetical order...nope
So OSU must be listed first by overall record...nope
So OSU must be listed first by national ranking...nope
So OSU must be listed first because they are defending Big 10 champs...nope

My last guess was, they must be listed first because of Eye Test...that’s all I got.

I know this is totally meaningless but come on BTN...at least try to hide your love affair for OSU & UM a little bit!

That is peculiar....every other site has either us or UM listed first then second and OSU is third. Not a surprise though.

It's a simple sort: conference winning percentage followed by reverse national ranking (rolling my eyes, lol)... sigh... explains Rutgers over Indiana (obviously, 1-3 is better than 2-1)...

How was the west listed? I see Nebraska up top.

Nebraska was first because they are currently the only team with a win out west. Wisconsin plays their first conference game today and the rest are winless in conference play.

I'm guessing they have them ranked that way because even though all 3 are 1-0 in the conference, OSU is 1-0 in the east division (Indiana), while the other 2 are 0-0 in division.
Fair point....but they're the only site that has it that way.

I seem to be one of the guys on this board who often steps in and argues against an overt bias towards "the big two". Looking at this today, I would point out that... well, if you consider the likelihood of... aw heck, I got nothing. There is no other plausible explanation.

No, it's obviously the application of the eye test.... duh!
