Well it certainly seems like we will all have the popcorn out for the Facundo vs Kasak show at 157. Do we have confirmation both are going?
I assume both the AllStar classic and this tourney do not count against a redshirt, correct?

Not sure about ASC since that was exhibition (wouldn't think that would affect RS). If Kasak wrestles in this attached it definetly burns his shirt. He could potentially wrestle unattcahed to preserve it
Someone posted recently that Flo’s Pyles said it does not affect Tyler’s red shirt but that Cael thought it would.
It was in a flo interview with coaches, I thought they said, they expected that to pull his RS, but it did not. I could of been dreaming but I don't think so.
I did not see the interview, heard it second hand.
I think when kasak win the national title this year his red shirt almost has to be pulled.
Cael said all starters were going, that must mean that Braeden is wrestling.
Penn State has 20 wrestlers registered, including all starters, but that’s subject to change up until the day of the event. Imagine no decision will be made until it needs to be.

All entries. Excited to see 197 with Cochran, Barr, and Mirasola all going. Also 125 with Lilledahl and McHenry and obviously 157. Would love to see Ryder vs CStar as well. Should be a fun tournament
He’s not on the entry list but I’m sure that can change. I wonder why he isn’t going? I would be really excited to see him compete here

Haven’t heard a peep about Sealey. Interesting note though. There are only 3 wrestlers on PSU roster not certified, Sealey, Nagao and Erik Gibson. Could mean they all injured and that’s why they haven’t certed yet? Just throwing that out there. No knowledge if that’s why they haven’t certified.
Not if Gary Steen beats Davis out for the spot, then wins the Natty. WIN STEEN WIN!
I don't think it matters if he blows through the competition. My sense from listening to Cael is that his first priority when deciding on redshirting his wrestlers is to do what the athlete prefers. All indications are that Connor prefers to redshirt alongside his brother. The second priority is if the team really really needs points to win the Natty. This year we don't need them so I can't see Cael pushing him to not redshirt for this reason either.

It appears the Rutgers contingent will be very light, if one goes by Flo's list of participants.

That doesn't change the fact that his last college wrestling appearance was a total embarrassment on many levels.

Looking at the entries for the Black Knight Invitation, it looks very likely that Penn State could have at least 10 guys in the finals! We're contributing here by giving the other participants a chance to go against top level competition. Anyone with a really competitive attitude would jump on that opportunity.
