Vak it is my spreadsheet and I have posted more than once for those who have asked about it, that the kids listed in the recruiting part are local (PA, NJ, MD) kids who are highly rated OR kids that have had PSU mentioned in their recruiting publicly.Your forum literally has a spreadsheet pinned to the top of the page with recruiting projections on it.

No forecasts or projections - just a list of possible kids PSU may or may not be recruiting.
You are not always here, so I'm guessing you missed this.
I did not think this was the case, probably because I interpreted his post as ripping on the Iowa board for assuming someone they are recruiting was going to commit and then penciling them in future lineups.I did not miss it nor do I think it's objectionable. I think it's interesting and fun for Penn State fans. I was pointing out that homeboy was trying to mock Iowa posters for doing something similar, though less formalized.
Not my forum.Your forum literally has a spreadsheet pinned to the top of the page with recruiting projections on it.
Odd how a couple posters can drive the drama for most of a fan base.
I don't know much about Teske. Don't recall seeing him wrestle either. Does he have a lanky build like maybe Nico, or stockier, like a Joey Dance? Or maybe chiseled out of granite like Smalls?
Ok, thanks. I'm hearing a lot about Teske being a career 125, and if he does commit, well, I hope he is. There's been a lot of talk about a log jam at 133-141 in the coming years. Busiello coming in too! Good problem to have to sort out for the staff.I was looking at the 2016 Cadet finals against Jordan Decatur and Teske actually looked a lot less physically mature than Decatur. Like a lot.
Yeah, I watched that too. He was horsed a few times but I liked that he kept coming, unafraid to put himself in risky positions. A little sloppy but that's fine at his age. Great instincts and feel.I was looking at the 2016 Cadet finals against Jordan Decatur and Teske actually looked a lot less physically mature than Decatur. Like a lot.

Pretty sure everyone here, plus Willie, get that it's an ongoing joke and nothing more. Stale joke that's been run into the ground, sure, but just a joke.If any Penn State fan really believes that Willie Saylor recruits for the school you need to reevaluate your understanding of their recruiting.
The C's know what they are doing.
Willie Saylor has to help? Funniest ongoing belief on this forum for years! It is fallacious information. Case closed.
Buh-bye.
Was that insinuated in this thread? If so, I missed it.If any Penn State fan really believes that Willie Saylor recruits for the school you need to reevaluate your understanding of their recruiting.

I don't know what's funniest: that you believe people believe it, that you felt the need to say this or that you did it with such attitude. Ah, heck, I'm going with the trifecta. If any Penn State fan really believes that Willie Saylor recruits for the school you need to reevaluate your understanding of their recruiting.

Don't believe that sh*! . Recruiting wise everything revolves around Willie. I'm cutting another check first thing Friday morning. Keeping Willie in the fold is one of my priorities in life....Right behind eating....Now, stop right there for just one freaking minute!
Willie isn't our chief recruiter?
Well then who in the Sam hill is it that gives out those slush fund checks I keep contributing to. I mean come on. Every time that Prince from Austin Texas calls me to say he has another stud recruit for Penn State and he just needs another $1,000 to buy the kid a pair of wrestling sneakers and a plane ticket to State College I give. What in the name of Saint Pete is going on here?
Slush to the rescue, if needed!
Are you saying you need someone else to step up and create some drama?
You've misspelled f**. The guys over on HR will be disappointed with you...A true generosity of spirit from you f** folks in State College.
Vak is your typical Hawkeye Report poster who gets upset if someone disagrees with him. Thin skinned.

Yeah, you're one of my favorites over there. Call it like you see it and don't care if it pisses anyone off. Not many there will do that. LolThey get disappointed with me all the time...I find a way to live, lol.
The 'meme' that i help recruit for Penn State is a long-running joke. It originated on Hawkeye Report with several posters saying several times that I assist the PSU staff in recruiting.
it's so audacious. but the guys on BWI (here) took it and ran with it. and frankly, i get a kick out of it every time it's referenced.
The joke has been run into the ground, but at least it is still beating Nico in the room! <groan>Pretty sure everyone here, plus Willie, get that it's an ongoing joke and nothing more. Stale joke that's been run into the ground, sure, but just a joke.
BTW, great work on Teske, and hopefully Cael can close your deal with Brooks next weekend. Then you can focus on 2019, McHenry and Starocci, maybe throw in Ruth. The 'meme' that i help recruit for Penn State is a long-running joke. If a joke evokes a collective smile or chuckle can it truly have been run into the ground? The joke has been run into the ground, but at least it is still beating Nico in the room! <groan>
Here's what he did with the last check:Shoot.
So what are you doing with those checks I keep sending?
Getting the number 1 kid from Iowa, especially without his parents relocating - that made me chuckle.Willie didnt break the news, CP did.
no way on earth the nugs came from PSU. My guess is the school(s) not getting visits now started b!tching about it and Flo got word. People say the crying on the boards is bad, but the whinning by coaches is worse, they just do it over texts and certainly in Ft Lauderdale.
Like it or not Flo is wrestling media, and their nugs are nothing compared to what we see from the football/basketball obsessed recruiting companies. I would also venture a guess they hear double digit nugs every day that they dont say.
if we get the #1 kid in iowa, I dont care what it costs. If we did it without his parents relocating, even better.
People of all walks want "inside info", getting it and talking about is an industry now. pretty hard to put that jeanie back in the bottle. Clicks pay its that simple. Content drives clicks. Content is manufactured. is what it is to me.
Didn't need to get Dad a job at Juniata College or Lock Haven either.Getting the number 1 kid from Iowa, especially without his parents relocating - that made me chuckle.
