Manville's tourney ends when the Japanese wrestler who tech'd him fails to make the Semis. Figueroa and Kirkvliet in semis. Howard and Assad still in the running for 3rd for now.
Kirkvliet has wrestled a total of 4:35 in 3 matches so far, 30-0.

It was pretty wierd watching live wrestling at 1030 (HST). Some good matches , for the most part the US kids wrestled well. Manville got absolutely housed. I was pretty surprised. Two in the finals , will need a strong day today to win the team trophy.
Figueroa II gets the Silver......dropping a 6-1 decision in the final. CONGRATS
Ferrari gets pull back in as his 1st round opponent (a 2-0 loss ) won his Semi-final
Abe Assad gets 2 takedowns in the 2nd to win the Bronze 7-6. CONGRATS
Facundo, Ramos and Lamer are in the Semi-finals. Kerkvliet will wrestle for Gold.
Josh Saunders won his 1st 10-0 and lost his 2nd 6-1. His opponent lost late and eliminated Saunders.
2:00 PM......….Kerkvliet drops a 7-4 decision in the final....settles for Silver.
Ramos wins his Semi......will wrestle for gold. Facundo and Lamer lose in the Semis.

Kinda funny that Ramos was the only gold medal. Every match I wax losing my mind. His stance was terrible , pace was terrible. Sometimes he just looked plain lost. Then he'd hook a leg and step over a whizzer and either pin or score. I can't believe Japan wasn't ready for it. Was the equivalent of winning world's on 5 straight cement jobs.
