CFP rankings tomorrow

My view is that performance in the extra game CAN be a factor. The extra "L", by itself, with no additional context, should not be. For example, what if Wisconsin lost in OT after playing a great game?

But they didn’t. They lost in regulation.

By s field goal to a 6-6 team.

Stop drinking the KoolAide. Outside of the 3 turnovers, PSU was dominated by OSU. Wisky at least had a pulse tonight.
You clearly haven’t observed impact of conference championship losses have on teams. Since 2014, only one team got dropped 5 spots after a conference championship loss. In at least half of the conference championships since the playoff era, the conference champ. loser either only dropped the 1 spot, stayed put, or rose a spot. In most others, the drop was 2 spots. 3+ spots are very rare.
out of curiosity how many of those involved a two loss team losing their 3rd game in the league championship. Not a challenge was just curious

here is what happened last night
Wisky lost by 13 on a neutral field to an OSU team with their running QB at far below 100% which changed this team entirely. had Ryan Day run to ball at the goal line instead of passing i think it wold have been 38-21 or 17 pt diff.
Wisky did play OSU in another game when healthy just like OSU = 31 pt loss. that is the comparable to the Penn State game that was 11 pt loss and could have been less = remember OSU scored last.

Committee said in interview LSU was 4-0 against teams in the top 13. I assume that means Alabama dropped to 13.

But they didn’t...they got boat raced in the second half by a depleted OSU team.

Did you understand the difference between forced turnovers and self inflicted turnovers ? Penn State’s defense forced those turnovers with outstanding timed hits and stripping the ball away from the Buckeyes. That’s called great defense and it wasn’t a matter of OSU playing sloppy football in their biggest game of the year at home on national television. Sorry to bust your bubble troll.

And you conveniently fail to mention the interception that our backup QB threw while marching Penn State down the field late in the game in which they could have taken the lead against the Buckeyes. Can’t have it both ways. If it wasn’t for that late turnover, Penn State may have won the game. Correct ?

Lol. Seems to concern you a ton. You come in and make a bold statement, then backtrack it with (how do you know what I watched). Meager.
It’s not bold at all, they looked great. I didn’t backtrack at all, I stand by it. Your killing your self, keep going.

Should be the cotton bowl for us, Wisconsin played too well.

Can we give the Wisconsin played too well BS a rest? They didn’t play OSU any better than PSU did and PSU played OSU 1st in OSU’s consecutive games of PSU, Michigan and Wisconsin. OSU played the first half last night like they thought all they had to do was roll their helmets on the field to win. I will give Wisconsin credit for capitalizing on that and playing a great first half, but OSU smoked them 27-0 in the second half and erased a 14 point deficit quickly. Not my definition of “playing too well” by a long shot.

I don’t know. Against similar opponents, they have similar results, except Wisconsin beat Minnesota. Committee looks at this stuff too. Yes, the Illinois loss is part of the equation, but I do not think it is nearly as cut and dry as some in this board make it seem

I hope we go to and win the Rose Bowl, but I am also steeled against the fact that it will not be a slam dunk.

told Ya’s so.

Not sure why everyone was so quick to dismiss Wisconsin.
