not a good look for a coach. I don’t know how to post a video but when dread blew a defensive assignment, Chambers really lit into him and physically shoved him. Really not something you want to see any coach doing to a young player.

Actually I would like to see more of it.
That is what we once called a tempest in a teapot. Maybe I'm too old school, but seriously...this is an issue?
This is major college basketball, not the Sunday CYO league.

Florida coach did this a few years ago and everyone on here wanted him tared and feathered.

Yet, this guy has been coaching high school kids for years, it's a classic. "Do you have any pride Danny?"

Or teach the young kid what he did wrong and how to correct if instead of humiliate him on national television and inappropriately shove him because coach can’t control his temper?
I have seen Franklin hit his players harder than that and it was after they did something he was happy about. At least Chambers didn't throw a chair or rip his suit jacket in half.

What’s his reaction when Bolton turns the ball over? His approach isn’t working.

Chambers stinks as a coach so I want to shove him.

A coach should never, never yell at a player. These are 18-22 year olds and they have feelings. It's 2019 Chambers should be disciplined for showing emotions and yelling. This young man could be scared for life and turn to drugs and a life of crime.

For those in the know. Did Wilson win the game after that pregame pep talk?

National television during a timeout....probably more people saw it here because you posted it than saw it in the rest of the entire United States.

MAYBE the kid wasn’t paying attention in the huddle and Chambers was trying to wake him up? And MAYBE Chambers indeed lost his cool for a moment.

But I wasn’t in the huddle for those eight seconds so I’m not gonna overreact one way or another.

Give me a freaking break! What Chambers did was agressive but not news worthy. Does this talented team not need a wake-up? Hell Yeah..or is it Snell Yeah? (what a stupid promo that was by the way), but I have no problem what Chambers did to Myles Dread or is it Myles Sanders since the article states both and I got confused anyway....stupid non-news that probably will be "news" because reporters suck ass....

Not everyone. Not me. We've become a gawdam nation of wimps.

Right?!? Shoulda beat him within an inch of his life. In the old days, we'd kill a guy for missing his assignment on D. Literally kill the guy. With a trident. Then we'd all get together and plot to cover it up, saying he took his own life out of embarrassment, and since the detectives (real men) agreed that he missed his assignment, they'd walk away without further investigation. Advocating for anything less makes you a wimp. Why, back in my day, we'd play basketball barefoot, on broken glass and hot coals. Turned us into men. Death to losers. Only the victorious are real men. Like in the good ole days (ancient Greece, native Canadians, etc.).

Times change. People (some) evolve. Don't celebrate being stuck in primordial mud.

Cute, but he put his hands on the player so its not just yelling as no one has a problem with that. I wouldn't fire him over it, but this day and age not a good look. Especially on national tv. He shouldn't be doing it, period.

Cool story, bro.

3 posts and the wisdom of Solomon.
Welcome aboard. I would verbally cut you off at the knees, but you used the word "primordial" and I respect that, so I will move on. Besides, I fear a chorus of "Kymbaya" is in the offing and I hate that song.

I'm fine with yelling, but once a player is shoved, it crosses the line. Kelly was over the line when he grabbed his player's FM this year.
