Choke-lahoma just lost again. Good thing they were jumped over us in the CFP Ranking.

We lose to the #1 Team in the nation by one score and were dropped behind teams like chokey-homa and Miss St. - it's ridiculous.
We stunk against OSU. The game was not as close as the score indicated

But Choke-lahoma clearly looked awesome losing to Kansas???? BTW, the game was as close as the score indicated - are you trying to claim that duhO$U didn't have to recover the onside kick so we didn't have a chance to tie the game??? BTW, duhO$U is the #1 ranked team and it was @TheShoe, but you're going to tell me losing to Kansas is a better loss??? Whatever you say genius.

We dropped after our last two wins. Who knows, maybe we’ll drop again after this latest win and Okie State will move in front of us.

First off--Ole Miss not Miss State was ahead of us
Second--OU was ahead of us in every poll prior to the release of the CFP rankings
Third--you can't drop in the first release
No idea why people keep entertaining this

We control our destiny if we win vs UM.
We do? Not being disagreeable, but how so? We likely don’t win the BIG with one loss. Would Penn State be selected over a 1-loss conference champ from the SEC, Big 12, ACC, or PAC 12? I think not. We need help.

We need some help but I do think a one-loss PSU team can realistically get in.

It was 10-6 into the 4th with a horseshit called on a PSU td call back on the road. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good narrative, though.

If PSU beats Mich, and wins tiebreaker they are in. Otherwise, they are on the outside, as they should be if OSU gets to conference game.

Agreed. Though that is different than controlling our own destiny.

Exactly, there's only 5 teams that truly control their own destiny right now (UGa, duhO$U, scUM, U-dub and Free Shoes). Even if we beat scUM this coming Saturday, the list would still be 4 assuming the others all win.

IMHO, it will be a travesty if Free Shoes gets in - they're easily the most insanely over-rated team in the Country, they looked like dog-shit again this week against one of the worst teams in FBS, ASWP. Free Shoes has no impressive wins and they should have lost to a bad Clemson team but for Clemson missing a chip-shot FG at the end of regulation.

Free Shoes does not deserve to be in a 4-Team Invitational, which is what this system is until next year. What precisely does going undefeated in the ACC and winning the ACC CCG mean this year??? Who precisely are they going to play in CCG, Louisville???

So you propose that we should put more of a focus on how teams “look”, and games that they “should” have lost, rather than the actual results? A much bigger focus on the “eye test”?

Interesting approach.

This would have been a good year for the 12 team invitational to start
